I had an accident on January 6th and my car was total not my fault. However dealing with the Safety insurance for a fair payout amount is a nightmare. They do not respond to your emails or texts or phone calls.
I got into an accident, so i contacted safety insurance to get them to pay for my rental because its their policy holders car that was insured. The person driving wasn't the owner and had no license. When I talked to them they denied me because their policy holder didn't contact them. So basically they are saying it's ok for their clients to let people drive without a license. They drove through a red light and completely demolished my car
Their driver scratched my car on the highway and fled. I videotaped his license plate and contacted them. It took them two and a half months to fix the problem. They called an auto appraiser. They sent me a letter describing the damage, then said they wouldn't pay because it wasn't enough for them that I videotaped him and honked at him to stop, he just drove off. I also don't get any answers when I call them and send them emails.
This is the biggest scam company out there. There rates are insanely high. They are impossible to get ahold of. I actually canceled the policy before it started due to them jacking the premium up %150 for a newer car I purchased without telling me. After I got new insurance with a much better company Safety Insurance went into my account and withdrew my entire account claiming they will mail me back a refund for 1/4 of what was taken with no other explanation! I highly recommend if you do use them do not have the money directly withdrawn from your account! You will be at their mercy and they will take advantage of that!

I'm not one to evaluate companies but as I pay my insurance on time I thought it was an injustice what they did to me! I was stopped at the traffic light and a vehicle hit my rear in which my car collided with the vehicle in front! I tried to contact Safety in countless ways, email, calls, and if they answered me or did something for me, I sent all the evidence of the accident, data of the driver who hit my car, and the only message I received was from an employee saying: "I'm sorry I'm on vacation" biggest disappointment of my life was hiring this company. And the worst was that the following month the insurance amount was readjusted, I increased the value even more
I had a third-party claim with Safety Insurance. The overall experience with customer care and the total loss department was smooth and professional. The process is structured, so patience is important. Special thanks to Wilber Sandoval for the support. Overall, a very positive experience.👍
Safety has owed me a refund for a homeowners policy for a while. They claim that they sent me a check on November 10th and I never received it. They reissued it on December 15th and once again, it never came. I sent them payment for my car insurance on December 25th. They claim they never received my payment and cancelled my policy. They won't reinstate my policy stating that my payment wasn't received. I explained that obviously there's a problem with the mail. I have to be understanding with them, but they won't budge and are being rude and nasty to be about my payment. They stink!!
So far with safety insurance, I've not had any issues. The claim was filed when a rock broke my windshield. It took the glass company four weeks to complete. But other than that, safety insurance has not been an issue with me.I like them!
