Safety Insurance

Safety insurance is the best way to go, I don’t know if the other reviews are fake. I got into a weather related accident but my claim settled within 3 weeks! And I was provided multiple rental cars from Enterprise. I will continue to use Safety Insurance :)

I called today about my policy on a home we had just sold. There were 3 payments auto deducted AFTER the sale date. I simply wanted to know where those payments were applied since we did not own the home anymore. The Rep couldnt have been more RUDE. When I told her she did not fully answer my question, she just hung up on me. I will certainly be getting some estimates from a different company. Ive been with this company for years. time for a change.

I’ve had Safety auto and home insurance 6+ yrs and I never had any issues. All of my auto claims had been resolved in a timely manner. Just recently I filed an auto claim via website on a Sunday and Monday morning my adjuster, Ryan Simmler, reached out to me. Great customer service from him and his team. I was set up with a rental, my car was appraised by that Wednesday and my claim was resolved the following week, given it was a holiday weekend. Attentive and my questions/concerns were answered.

Terrible experience... 1 month since someone read-ended me... Took 2 weeks for the adjuster to go to where the car was... Keep getting checks and later calls to void them... Painful process from the beginning to the end where they always send me to the adjuster and the adjuster sends me back to Safety.... I have had 3 adjusters in a total car loss... They offered me less money that what my car was worth it and to get the check has been a painful process (if you ever need to work with Gilbert Rodney good luck because he will be rude and not a nice person). As soon as I get my check I will get away from this company and I would recommend everybody reading this to stay away from them.

Worst insurance I've ever had . A truck swiped and tool off my rear mirror while my car was sitting in my drive way way. Reach out to insurance and spoke to an adjuster. That was tge first and last time I was able to reach him. I would call and leave him a message and non of my calls were returned. I had to pay for the replacement of my mirror because the process was taking forever and I couldn't drive comfortably without my side mirror. It was almost 6 weeks after before they reimbursed me. Safety also charges late fee on monthly premiums. I was indisposed and I was a week late to pay my premium, Safety insurance charged me a late fee. Anyway you look at it, they always have a way if taking money from you. Their payment system isn't straight forward. One moment I have a base amount I pay monthly and the next moment, I am receiving an invoice with a different amount. I am in the market for a. new insurance provider and will not be using Safety moving forward. It has not been a smooth sail and I regret going with them in the first place. I will not recommend this insurance to anyone.

My car was hit while it was parked. The owner of the car who hit me has Safety Insurance. I’ve had to go through Safety Insurance for the repairs and the process has been super difficult. I called them multiple times over the span of 4 days without a response. When I finally heard from them, they claimed that they didn’t contact me because they “didn’t have my contact information”. This was a lie as I called them the day the claim was filed and left a voicemail with my information. I also followed up that first call with an email that also had my contact information. I was also calling them daily. I think the only reason they ended up getting back to me was because I called their main line to complain. But even after that, they still took days to respond and they wouldn’t give me a straight answer of how long it would take to complete their investigation, if they would pay for the damages, or if they could get me a rental car (which I needed to get to work). Looking at the other reviews I’m realizing I’m not alone in this which makes it all the more frustrating.

If I could give them a 0, I would. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT get insurance from them. And god forbid someone hits your car that has safety insurance, get ready for the battle of your life. They very extremely uncommunicative about the process of getting my car fixed. The mechanic told me it might be a total loss. He then determined he could fix it. Then a few days later, I get a call that safety will only pay half because they determined it was 50/50 fault, even though the other person T boned me when I had a green arrow to go left. When I already had the car at the mechanic. When I told the adjuster I wouldn’t accept this decision of 50/50 at fault and asked to speak to a supervisor, they sent me through the ringer with sending me to unknown voicemail boxes that were full, other service reps that unfortunately had to deal with my frustration. Then, the adjuster ended up being “unavailable” to take my call after I asked to speak with her again multiple times because her “supervisor” was “not available.” One service rep tried to convince me safety insurance was doing me a “favor” by calling it 50/50 because “any time you go left at a light you have to yield to other traffic.” Complete and utter disgrace.

Had a cracked windshield. The claims process was so easy. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The glass company I know of on Cape Cod was on there list. Had it done in days. Could not be happier with Safety Insurance.

I have had Safety insure my vehicles for years. Never a problem until you need them. The claim agent was great. My issue is a 4K discrepancy between the adjuster from Safety and the body shop, which the required our car to remain in the shop (3+ weeks) for all of the work in the supplemental claim to be documented and completed. We don’t have rental coverage at the time of collision, but you would think Safety would provide some relief because their low ball quote is what’s causing the car to be jammed up in the shop for so long. We’ve paid thousands in premiums over the years, all good driving records too. It doesn’t add up. We’ll be looking for a new insurance company when this is done.
