HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! MY ALLERGIST ROCKS!!!! I go here for my allergist Dr. Jennifer Ker. I have been with her for about 5 years now and choose to drive from Clarksville just to keep her! I have been the healthiest I have ever been thanks to her wisdom and care!!! She is top notch, an excellent immunologist and physician! A brilliant mind and seeks to find the best treatment options for her patients! She listens to their needs, concerns and takes action! I 100% recommend her! The building is nice too, currently/recently renovated. This place is great!
Possibly one of the most inefficient medical offices in the city of Nashville. No one ever answers the phone despite several front desk staff sitting her gossiping and clearly not doing anything productive. Don't go out of your way to show up to your appointment on time, especially if you're seeing Dr. Harwell. If you're lucky you may be brought back within an hour of your actual appointment time.
Initially had a positive experience with this medical group year ago when they first diagnosed my condition. Recently, I was told they would no longer be able to offer refills on my prescription until I came back in a saw Dr. ******* because it had been 2 years since I had seen him. That’s fine and I get that totally, but after multiple attempts and leaving several messages over the course of the last two weeks and no return calls, I’m giving up and seeking another neurologist. I find it ironic that the nurse who told me I need to come in for a follow up visit told me I could just get my primary to continue refilling that same prescription. So I’m confused……….. 🤔 How is it that my neurologist who diagnosed my condition and prescribed this medication and has been treating my issue with said medication for many years can now no longer continue to re-fill, but my primary can just somehow pencil whip a prescription even though he is not a neurologist? Anyway, I’m done.
This office has major issues with calling patients back regarding appointments. I’ve called during the weekdays at several different times and cannot get them to pick up the phone. When I finally reached someone, she said she would be in touch with 24-48 hours. Never heard back. Once I called back, the lady rudely argued she had never heard from me or left me a voicemail and had no record of me calling... minutes later she found the information I was seeking. Not that anyone bothered to call me back about this information. To make matters worse, the doctor I saw at this facility barely looked at me the first time meeting me. Asked me questions only to not make eye contact while I was talking and interrupt before I finished speaking. I’m a registered nurse. I know time is precious. But I have a scheduled appointment, and I was not late. Why bother asking me questions when you won’t listen to the answer? She interrupted me so much that I was in tears by the end. What a frustrating unprofessional experience working with this group has been. MD was Lynda Murff.
Was referred by my sons pediatrician to see an Allergist there. I'm so glad she did. Awesome personality, very caring, attentive and we felt listened to. Not really sure about the reviews below but our experience was quite opposite of the negatives. Front desk was friendly, called and they answered our questions. Took our copay only. Literally they sent every thing we needed and made the process so smooth. We sat down and were called back in less than 5 mins. Nurses were so sweet and even the guy who had to draw some blood that was running a little behind, apologized was super kind. I highly recommend Dr. Brothers for your allergy needs. All covid protocols were followed thoroughly btw.
I’ve contemplated writing a review for a physician at the Nashville Heritage Medical Center for over nine months. I hesitate to publish a negative comment because it is not my intention to judge anyone’s character or motives. However, I am daily reminded of what I believe to be an error on this physician’s part, and that has led me to write this review. I had sinus surgery to correct a deviated septum and remove sinus polyps in December of 2020. I was told there would be a stint placed on either side of my septum for support, and that these two stints would be removed on my first post-op appointment. I was unaware that, along with the two stints, two plastic implants had been inserted into my nostrils from tip to bridge. No details of these implants were given to me before surgery and no picture of these implants were shown to me during any prior appointments. I did not know they were in my nose until my first post-op appointment. The implants are visible at the bridge of my nose and are still tender to the touch nine months later. However, I wear reading glasses for at least 8-12 hours per day, as well as sunglasses when needed; and the pain I feel every minute of wearing glasses is a constant reminder of the wrong I feel was inflicted on me by this physician. I informed the physician prior to surgery that I wore reading glasses almost all day. The implants make a V-shape right at the place where my glasses sit on my nose. I can’t begin to describe the pain I feel every day. I was very upset to hear that these implants had been inserted without my knowledge or consent. At the post-op appointment, this doctor told me they would begin dissolving in a few months; however, in my own research and after seeing a plastic surgeon to inquire about removing them, I learned the implants would not begin dissolving until after two years. And, removing them would be quite costly and leave very visible scars. I will have to deal with this pain for over another year. While I asked all the questions I could think of asking prior to surgery, it’s very difficult to ask questions about something of which I am unaware. I would not recommend having sinus surgery with this practice. Added note - I requested copies of my medical records over four months ago and have not received them.
Dr Ozan is a great doctor, however the billing department billed me for something I didn’t get. When I called, they told me they could bill for whatever they wanted to. Avoid them whenever you can.
I was sent here due to fibroids by my PCP. Dr. Joy Cox has a very bad bedside manner, all she talked about how good she was at surgery. She didn't try to educate me about fibroids, show empathy or anything to make me comfortable with HER performing surgery on me. Didn't want to give me other options, I had to pretty much force her to refer me to another specialist. Once I talked to the specialist I was no longer comfortable with Dr. Cox and asked her to release to another physician in the practice whom I heard better things about. She would not, I told her I would not be coming to any subsequent appts (previously scheduled). Still got a text message trying to confirm appt I had already told her to cancel. I responded via text that I would not be attending the appointment. Months later I get a bill for a missed appointment and told by the billing department that their text system doesnt always register we responses so I needed to provide them the text after 5 months. They take no accountability at this practice, why use a faulty system and penalize the patient when you know that it is faulty?
My doctor is awesome & I’m So thankful to have him manage my healthcare. I’ve been a nurse for 20 yrs, so I’m around doctors all the time and I know some are better than others. I am truly grateful that I have one of the best doctors that I know. He not only listens to me but he also takes into account my input when it comes to discussing medical issues that have come up and the diagnosis is associated with that. To find a doctor that you are comfortable with, one who actually listens to you, takes your input into consideration regarding your health care, and is not judgemental it’s not always the easiest to find. I’m very lucky and fortunate that I have found a doctor that’s good as he is. Also, Gigi, who works at the front desk/check in, is always friendly, kind, courteous, and beyond helpful. I would absolutely recommend them to anybody without hesitation. His whole team is great starting from the moment you get callback from the waiting room. Thank you to everyone at Heritage Medical Associates for all you do.
I came back today and have to say everyone was great. Smiling, happy, interacting great with patients. I am changing my review from the 1 to a 5. Thanks to all on the staff. I have been coming to Heritage for 5 yrs for my primary care physician. He is great, but your lab bunch on the first floor, are the most rude, non-caring, with total lack of any personality. Before all the rearrangement and construction the 2nd floor lab group were friendly, personal, and a pleasure to have attend to me and draw blood. This current bunch on the first floor are robots, hardly speak, grunt mostly, and have zero personality. Many patients have already been there for maybe hours, maybe even received some bad or disturbing new. Would it be too much to receive a smile or kind greeting. It wasn’t just the person taking care of me, it was all 3 of the attendants. I watched as those called before me, and while I was in the lab area. We are not cattle, we are really your customers, and pay the bills, and it wouldn’t be too much to ask to maybe get a smile.
