Really offended by all the “Jesus loves you” and Christian signage around check in. This is NOT what I want to see when checking in for an appointment. The check in time is also slow, and you can’t pay your bill with them because of new systems that no one can use.

They are the worst and jam patient for every penny. I have an emergency coming up and went to the doctor office in advance to explain and made sure they said they would waive the cancelation fee. They agreed and then after a month, they still sent me a bill for that. I called them and they said the person talked to me was wrong.

Dr James Broome and staff are the Best - my Thyroid surgery went so well- St Thomas Midtown Nurses 7th floor were great ! Of course as a Nurse myself Its hard to not be critical of our healthcare system but I had a great experience! Jan Norby RN BSN

Do NOT GO HERE PLEASE! My wife and I had a problem with our insurance where they retracted payments made in a certain time frame. I called heritage to inform them of the problem and they instructed me to call insurance. Insurance told me to call heritage. I eventually had to three way call heritage and Cigna . Even after them admitting there was a mistake made they sent me to collections and told me there was nothing they could do. They told me they would look at my wife’s charge but never did and now they won’t let her make appointments. Take your business elsewhere. This billing department is atrocious.

The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the lab techs. The lab techs have always done a great job whenever I’ve needed bloodwork or imaging done. But I’ve been a patient of Dr Myers for a few years now and it’s not been a great experience. He would prefer to refer patients out than to diagnose and treat anything officially himself. I’ve seen pharmacy reps waiting in the front office to see him more times than not (the 6 or so times that I’ve been over the years). I believe that at their core the staff does care about the patients and their specific health issues, but I feel like I’m dealing with a political office instead of a doctor. It’s almost like they are terrified of being held accountable for something and that should give someone pause. I understand it’s a delicate balance when dealing with someone’s health and being held liable for your diagnoses, but you have to be able to treat your patient. And do yourself the biggest favor and research the people they refer you out to before going, trust me!

Dr Ledford has been our doctor for years. We absolutely put our full trust in him and with any decision he makes for us. Thanks to all the staff at Heritage medical group.

I started with heritage at the beginning of my pregnancy then had to switch at 20 weeks. Dr. Lipsitz was nice. It was not the doctors or nurses but the front desk and the billing department. They wanted our whole deductible upfront and they were not willing to work with us in the least bit (which was more the issue) They were very rude, to the point of which I cried in their waiting room after she handed me their phone to discuss my finances aloud IN the waiting room in front of a bunch of people and then was told I could not see the doctor for my prenatal visit. After we switched doctors we never heard anything from them except about money. Would not recommend.

I waited four months to see Dr Bowers to get my thyroid checked since I was a new patient. I received a bill for over $300 bc they charged me for weight consultation which is inaccurate! I made the appointment to have my thyroid checked. Currently take thyroid meds and assumed thyroid was off due to weight gain and other symptoms. No weight loss medication was prescribed, only thyroid meds. Their billing office is unwilling to correct this issue. I’ve tried to reach out to Dr Bowers and my insurance company. I never had problems with billing from previous doctors/practices. This issue has been ongoing for almost 6 months! I can’t get anyone to call me back to help me to correct the issue!

Before COVID I was being seen by Jeffery Anderson. Who's idea od a visit east to sit all the way on the other side of a big room sign a lap top, ask some questions, maybe order blood work and see what specialist he could send you to. After the lock down hit i was an "essential worker " and was working a TON of hours. Ittavel for my job too. When I was able to finally schedule an appointment it has been just over three years since I was able to see the doctor. WELL, I was no longer a patient of his it seems. They couldn't tell me this til I was one day out from having an appointment with him. So I booked a "new patient" appointment with Lynda somebody or other. I drove over an hour to get there through Nashville morning traffic only to be told sence I got there late I would have to make another appointment. GUESS WHAT? I AM JUST GOING TO SIT HE TIL I DIE. No more trying this. I have Fought for over six years to find out what is going on with me and several "specialist " later and TWO surgeries, I'm done. THANKS heritage medical ASScoisates.

First let me just say that my regular OBGYN doctor is wonderful. And nursing and tech staff have been great. However, I recently had a very poor experience with a radiologist who reviewed a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound, including performing part of it himself. He made a difficult situation worse with his arrogance, dismissiveness, insensitivity, and attitude of “don’t worry your pretty little head and don’t you dare ask me any questions about my recommendation”. I have never had such a bad experience as I did with Dr. Bush. I recommend avoiding him at all costs. He had the nerve to tell me a breast biopsy was just like a routine trip to the dentist among other problems. Needless, to say, he will never touch me again and he is fired from my care team.
