First time using Zencog. FIrst impression was fantastic. I had hydraulic brakeset replacement and a derailleur adjustment/ new chain. Everything is in proper working order. Smooth shifts, proper brake bite. And there customer service was great. Nice guys. Edit: I got to ride my bike today. Silky smooth shifts and the brakes were perfectly adjusted! 5 star
Incredible customer service! They were able to fix a misaligned handlebar by custom making a piece. My previously unusable bike is ready for the road again. Just FYI they are busy, if you drop off your bike it will take several weeks. Let them know if you are on a time crunch. They were incredibly understanding with that. Good service sometimes takes time!

I drive 15 minutes to visit Zen Cog versus the bike shop close to me. I’m in love with every worker there and the place just has a great vibe! AND they keep my bike in tip top shape. Loving ZenCog for over 10 years and recommend them still.
Awesome, AWESOME bike shop! I dropped off my bike after a derailleur broke and for less than a 100 bucks I got a buttery smooth, like new bike! They also install hitches for bike carriers, and offer a great selection of new and used bikes by commission. I am very happy I found those guys and will continue to give them my business. I have had bad experiences with shops before and I am very happy those guys are passionate about their customers and what they do.
I bought a Huffy beach cruiser at a pawn shop as something fun to fix up. I had a couple extra bikes in the garage (Panama Jack beach cruiser and a mountain bike that was originally $300). I wanted to see if the Huffy had a good frame and true the wheels. I thought I might be able to barter for some of the labor with the other two bikes. I called ahead to see if Zen Cog would barter labor for the two bikes. They said they would have to see the other two bikes. I brought all three bikes in. I asked how much they thought the bikes would be worth, and they said to leave the bikes there and Zen Cog would message me with an estimate. I let them know I was leaving to Miami a week from when I dropped the bikes off, and I would be taking the project bike with me to get it painted. When I came back a week and a day later, the project bike had not been looked at and the other two bikes were "donated". I ended up taking the project bike back with no work done to it and a loss of two bikes that I could have sold to a thrift store. It was a terrible experience after reading such good reviews. One employee tried to sell me a $400 bike after they "donated" my other two bikes and did zero work on my project. Not going to happen Zen Cog. You have lost my trust and business.
Always kind, super helpful. Everyone who works here has a passion for bike accessibility. They recently helped me find a new bike because my old one was uncomfortable. Garf (the owner) broke down the issues with my old bike and got me set up with a new one ASAP. It is exactly what I wanted and he answered all of my questions. Sarah helped get my bike set up and she was soooo helpful. If you need something they don’t have in store, they can order it. They aren’t pushy and they don’t rush you. Everyone who works there wants to make sure you are happy with your bike. They also have the sweetest shop dog. They are very involved in the community. Spend money here, you won’t regret it.
