West Edge Apartments

We had an amazing splurge year in our apartment on the 30th floor at West Edge while our condo was being remodeled. The people made it great. Wish the rent didn’t shoot up by management for year two or may have stayed longer. Those who made it great are the following: Isabel, Wendy and Amar in concierge (willing to assist with kindness daily), Garth and Ali K in maintenance (always there efficient and courteous), Ty E. and Mujeeb in the leasing office (timely correspondence). Thank you all for a great year!

I worked with Ty at West Edge and had an exceptional experience from start to finish. Ty was fun and a blast to work with. Beyond the charm, he was responsive, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable about the building and specific units. He made the entire leasing process smooth and stress-free — answering every question promptly, walking us through all the details, and making sure we felt confident about our decision. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled quickly and correctly, and he followed up even after move-in to make sure things were going well.

My wife and I lived here for four years and only moved because of a job opportunity in another state. While the surrounding area isn’t great, the building itself is terrific, as are the units and staff. In particular, a big shoutout to Isabel, Wendy and Catherine who led a lot of the day-to-day admin, concierge and even leasing duties. Incredible views, great amenities and well-constructed and designed spaces. Not easy to find in downtown areas. If we ever move back to Seattle, we’ll definitely look at moving back in!

West Edge is an amazing place to live! The building, amenities, and location are all outstanding. A special thanks to Mujeeb, who guided us through every step of choosing our apartment. He was very professional, friendly, and made the whole process easy and enjoyable. We’re extremely happy with our new home and with the excellent service we received. I just want to mention the great experience I’ve had living at West Edge. The building, amenity spaces, and location is in such a prime area with amazing views. What really stands out is the staff. Concierge is always there to help with deliveries, guests visiting or anything. I would specifically like to mention Rian and Ty. I recently moved into West Edge Seattle, and I genuinely couldn’t be happier with the experience so far. From the very beginning, the entire process was smooth, professional, and incredibly well handled. A huge thank you to Rory, who truly went above and beyond throughout the entire process. From the initial tour of the building, units, and amenities to guiding me through the lease signing, just made everything feel easy and completely stress-free. What really stood out to me was how accommodating and responsive the entire team at West Edge Seattle has been. Whether it was providing helpful tips, walking me through details, or simply making sure I felt comfortable and informed every step of the way, their support never went unnoticed. The building itself is fantastic, with great amenities and a modern feel, but it’s the level of service from the team that truly sets West Edge Seattle apart. If you’re considering moving here, I highly recommend it—especially if you have the chance to work with Rory. They made what can often be a stressful process feel seamless and genuinely enjoyable.

💩 What a complete dumpster fire of a building I’ve lived at West Edge long enough to know this place has completely given up. This is no longer what I consider a habitable home, and I can’t wait to get out. SECURITY is an absolute joke. There is zero reasonable expectation of safety here. Anyone from the sketchy downtown streets can (and does) walk right in — through the front door, the garage gate, or the loading dock in the back alley. The area around the building is constantly full of aggressive, unstable people. It smells like urine the second you step outside that heavy red door. The “bug fan” they installed just blows the lovely aroma straight into your face. The concierge is rarely there when you actually need them. Fobbing in is pure stress because there’s almost always someone lingering outside waiting for a resident to open the door so they can swarm in. I’ve had to call concierge just to escort me inside because of the activity happening right at the entrance. And the elevators? Exactly as bad as the other reviews say. Anyone can call any floor with no fob required. I don’t even know why we have fobs. One day I walked out of my unit straight into a group of police officers on my floor looking for someone who had gotten in and was camping in the stairwells. Felt like I was living in a bad movie. Move-in day was a nightmare. I had to personally guard the loading dock the entire time so people wouldn’t walk in or steal from the truck. Stepped on more needles and filth than I care to remember. Packages are constantly lost, left in random corners of the lobby, or delivered to the wrong floor. Concierge is understaffed, especially at night. The parking garage is pure Mad Max — no attendant, no enforcement. People just wait and tailgate in. My reserved spot has been taken multiple times, and dealing with the chaos once led to $13,000 in car damage. Flooding is common. My unit flooded and management tore the place apart for a week, destroyed belongings, and offered zero compensation. A neighbor’s unit had a toilet flooding for months — management paid them off to stay quiet. My oven has been broken for ages and they refuse to replace it. Internet was out for two full weeks and staff were completely useless. Rooftop is almost always closed. Gym is mediocre. Courtyard smells like a waste station and is full of flies. Neighbor upstairs regularly washes dog waste down onto my balcony. This building looks fancy in the photos. The reality is a poorly managed, insecure, high-stress mess in the middle of downtown. Future tenants: do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. You’ll thank me later.

Had the wonderful pleasure of interacting with Mujeeb and Rosamarie today! They were absolutely wonderful and professionals! I highly recommend this building for anyone new to Seattle.

We have recently moved into the apartment and we are in awe of the views and the amenities. The gym is at the 39th floor, with outdoor seating and terrace with amazing 360 degree view of Seattle. Special thanks for Amar and Mujeeb for making our move in experience so smooth.
