Wouldn’t normally review a starbies, but having stayed near here for a few days it’s been a daily guilty pleasure while taking a morning stroll. I have to say of all the starbies I’ve visited the staff here have been by far the friendliest and chattiest I’ve ever experienced. Made for a pleasant morning coffee ritual for the few days I was here - thank you.
A quaint Starbucks location near Pier 52. Great spot to grab a drink and/or a snack before boarding the ferry. Alex took our order; he was polite and quick to ring up our order. The drinks were served incredibly quickly, and they were hot and exactly as ordered. Seating here is limited, so it would be less suitable for large groups. Great location that runs smoothly!
Holy plastics, Batman! For a company with as much money as yours, profiting off of its location along the Puget sound, I was horrified to see the sale and use of so much single used plastic just here. As we all know by now, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish by 2050. It takes a lot of audacity to justify all of this mess in a waterfront city like Seattle. Over 95% of the plastic that we sent to recycling does not actually get recycled, rather end up in landfills, incinerators, and in our waterways. What is Starbucks, and this location specifically, doing to mitigate this crisis? Because every single person I saw eating in your shop, and at the tables outside it, we’re drinking out of trash cups. And every single can, whether recycling, compost, or trash, was all filled with the same stuff. No differentiation. Likely all going to the same landfill anyway. Clearly there’s no communication about any for here, options, nor any effort being made to deter customers From making such a mess within just 20 minutes of imbibing their drink. This is completely unacceptable.
Great little shop. Great customer service. There isn't a place to enjoy your sips inside but it's quick, clean, and easy to get to. They have a pick up window or you can go inside.
I hate rating low on places but I can't help it with this one. The girl at the register was super sweet. But the lady making coffee. Wow. You can tell she has had better days. She is so completely rude and cold. And my $8 white chocolate mocha was a $8 black coffee with some foam on the top. I could not believe it. She made the worst coffee had the worst attitude. Never again.
We are regulars to this Starbucks shop. My daughter was thirsty last Sunday when we were walking at the waterfront and thought I could ask for a water cup just as in many other times occasions when I was given one both with or without purchase without any problem (thinking that a water cup is never denied). It was to my surprise that barista that was serving on Sunday April 13th at around 5pm denied us water, saying that he will only serve water with a purchase. Is this a new company-wide policy? Or is it just this shop? Or was it just this barista? Anyways, my daughter and I will no longer feel welcome in this shop.
First time asked money for cup water in This location, never gonna be back.
My Daughter and I went in for coffee, The lady worker was very rude to us. Will never go there again.
