The staff are always friendly, the facility is clean and well maintained, and the service and atmosphere is very nice. A variety of quick bite options and beverages. The mobile app also is handy for a person with time constraints. Great place for studying or small gatherings. I would not recommend for large groups due to space restraints or to families with small children.
I bought a cappuccino where 40% of it was just foam, and it tasted disgusting. I've tried Starbucks coffee in different countries and really liked it, but this one was something else — pure rubbish.
We were waiting in line and they refused to give us the code to the bathroom even though it was emergency. Where is the human decency? Also, their mocha was not made well.
Dear Starbucks Corporate Customer Relations Team, I am writing to formally report an incident that occurred at a Starbucks location on [1/15/2026] at approximately [3:30 pm], located at [1101 Alaskan Way, Seattle, WA 98101 store#2937] While inside the store, I was approached by a Starbucks employee "Jules" who stated that I was required to purchase a drink in order to remain inside the establishment. I wasn't even in the store for ten minutes I was replying to an email when the employee communicated this in a rude and confrontational manner. Her tone was loud, unprofessional, and caused a scene in front of other customers. She literally walked me to the register I felt embarrassed, disrespected, and singled out during this interaction. What was most upsetting was not just the request itself, but the way it was handled. The employee’s behavior did not align with the welcoming, inclusive, and respectful environment Starbucks promotes. Being spoken to loudly and publicly in that manner was unnecessary and humiliating. I have always viewed Starbucks as a place that values customer experience and professionalism, which is why this encounter was especially disappointing. I believe this situation could have been handled privately and with much more respect. I am bringing this to your attention in hopes that this matter will be reviewed and addressed appropriately. I would appreciate follow-up regarding any actions taken, as well as reassurance that customers will be treated with courtesy and dignity moving forward. I just found out today that Starbucks has changed its policy regarding staying in its establishments: it is now mandatory to make a purchase in order to use the restroom—and, for that matter, if you simply want to stay on the premises. Well, that’s how things are now.
This isn’t my normal Starbucks I go to but I was driving in the area and needed something on my stomach so I stopped and got a grilled cheese and a matcha and wasn’t too pleased, my grilled cheese was still cold in the middle of the and killed my appetite and my matcha was fine just took 27 mins to get it which was unbelievable. Thankfully I wasn’t in a rush in thT moment but for a cents matcha I was shocked, there wasn’t a rush I mean there was 6 or 7 people waiting for their drinks and 4 staff members on the floor. A little disappointed and confused about that but overall the atmosphere was pretty. I won’t come to this location again though
If you don’t want discrimination, disrespect, and bad coffee, don’t come here. Instead, walk 2–3 minutes over to Buna Buna Coffee (1515 Western Ave), right by the Seattle Aquarium. The difference in customer service and coffee quality is honestly night and day. Save your money and your mood—skip this place and go somewhere that actually treats people right.
It was my birthday and I ordered a frappe from here. For one, it took a long time for them to even start my drink. Secondly, as I was waiting patiently by the pick up area I had to listen to the workers calling my frappe order a cvs receipt and constantly complaining about it. The drink was really good but the workers were very rude about it and made me feel embarrassed about my birthday drink.
Come on, folks, you can do better. I was here with my family enjoying the sun this long weekend. I ordered a vt latte and a vt hot chocolate. Both of these drinks were just milk with no coffee or hot chocolate in it. I expected better from Starbucks. I think you guys should definitely revisit the choice of coffee beans you are using in this store, and definitely the milk, or maybe the barista. To save some pennies, please do not destroy our experience as coffee lovers. You have lost one repeat customer as well.
Nice Starbucks on the waterfront with some comfy chairs to relax in after a summer walk. They have a little view to people watch. They are very busy on a weekend day but mostly walk-in and take out business. Great stop!
