The inside was beautiful and my (kind of weird) drink was made quickly and deliciously, but what made this such a great visit was the barista who helped me. I don’t remember his name, but I noticed he had a Starbucks pride pin, and complimented it. After I complained that the manager at my Starbucks didn’t order any, he took it off his apron and gave it to me! It made my day and my whole trip to Seattle. I wear it whenever I’m at work and it just makes me so happy! :) I wish I remembered his name so I could call the store and tell the manager about how great he was, but this will suffice. If he’s somehow reading this I want him to know he made a lesbian very happy
Unfortunately Starbucks has continued to decline in many aspects. I travel extensively and Starbucks was my go to, this will no longer continue. As for this Seattle location and many others there. They have removed all seats and chairs from the 3 locations my wife and I went to. I understand the reasoning to a point but those of us who drop a lot of money for what is becoming Over priced coffee and poor service ( I am literally having to repeat my order multiple times while someone is standing there taking my order and forget within 2 seconds what I just ordered and that’s just for drinks., zero retention of anything) We dropped $30.00 This is 6am there is nothing else open and we took a Lyft specifically to this starbucks which was the closest while we waited for the ferry terminal to open and have some coffee and food) I asked if I could use the rest room they said no it was closed, this is becoming common place for them to lock the bathroom doors and not let those of us who are paying good money for their product and service, as the homeless are a huge problem in Seattle. So the ones who go to these establishments have to suffer for those who don’t spend a dime there. As there was no where else for me to use the restroom as everything was closed at that time. So we will no longer search out Starbucks stores and I will go local and give them my business as I’m finding Starbucks has lost its business model and not worth the time or effort to go there or any other Starbucks. Such a shame to see Starbucks declining as I have been a loyal customer for many many many years.
I ordered a cold drink and they made it hot and wouldn’t fix it. They didn’t know how to ring in an order for just milkThey also helped other customers before others in our group because they were regular customers. I would not recommend unless you’re desperate.
Friendly and attentive. They are used to a longer line given the nature of the area and get the drinks out fast
As a fellow barista, I’m usually forgiving when things are out of stock or messy. But the blonde barista working 8/23/22 at 11:30am is the entire reason for me writing this review. Being from out of state, we weren’t aware that Washington is lidless. That’s fine. But when we’re handed an overflowing frozen drink with whip and garnish, while there’s no napkins in the lobby to wipe it off, and the baristas response is “Bummer.” In the most dead tone I’ve ever heard? Hell no. Just avoid this one, y’all, there’s plenty of nice coffee shops around with baristas that don’t seem to hate their lives. Oh, and my overflowing frozen drink? It was made wrong. Yeah, just avoid this one.
First Starbucks that not doing cup of water. I got coffee and came back in 5 minutes and they asked me to stay in line for another 15 minutes on Saturday night.
This is the 2nd closest Starbucks to my apartment, but it's the closest one that's open on the weekend. The service is amazing and it's right on the pier. If you order on the app, they have a pickup window so you don't even have to go inside. I really don't know what more you could possibly want from them.
Lets be honest, most Starbucks stores are the same but this location has a great staff. Also, not many downtown locations leave the restrooms unlocked. Seems small but I think that shows respect for their customers. PLEASE GIVE ME A 👍🏻 IF YOU FIND THIS REVIEW HELPFUL
Did not let my spouse use the restroom! She asked them 3 times. I think it’s bit rude to deny such a service to a customer who even promised to keep it clean. :-( she was in a hurry. Bad experience. Times when rules are not kind! From Boston.
