We came to this location while we waited for our family to come in to Jax airport. We waited over 20 minutes for our drinks and even though I asked for a hot drink they made it an iced drink. I would have asked for it to be remade, but we couldn't wait any longer. They were moving at a snails pace and spending their time chatting and laughing with each other all while there were at least 10 people waiting for their drinks inside. There wasn't a line for drive through. We'll definitely stick to our Yulee Starbucks.
Drinks were okay. Service was crazy slow with all the staff they had there! My church is faster between services with less staff. Atmosphere needed a better layout with the dozens of people waiting for drinks, we all had to stand right up against people's tables awkwardly waiting forever.
They were absolutely wonderful and so kind! Not that they knew I was having a really bad day, but when I arrived they came around the counter and opened the door since I had my twins in the stroller, and even got me a drink! I didn’t catch his name but I saw he was a veteran and I just wanted to say as a former barista, the gesture was extremely appreciated! Thank you again, I hope you see this review and know to keep up the good work and kindness!
First time ever coming here. Came with a friend just to grab a coffee and visit. We ordered a couple of tea beverages. Cashier was rude and dismissive. Did not take name for the order and instructed us they would call it out. We proceeded to wait nearly a half hour after one drink we didn’t know was ours was put on the counters. Then the 2nd one was mad incorrectly so we didn’t think that was ours. We finally asked and they treated us like we were idiots not knowing those were ours even though one was wrong. Needless to say. One and done. We will not be back.
I have only had one good experience here and it was a younger gentleman. Otherwise, every single time I go here, there’s some thing wrong with my order. Usually I go here by myself and only order an decaf caramel frappe (no special adjustments) you’d think this is easy enough right? Apparently not.. I work at Target so I get this drink frequently at the store I work at so I know what it looks/ tastes like. The lady at this location today handed me what looked like a vanilla bean frappe (it was white with black specks in it) with caramel drizzled on top. Then I handed it back to her and apologized and said I think this is wrong, I ordered a decaf caramel frappe which is exactly what it said on the cups sticker. She gave me a dirty look and took it from me. Threw a shot of regular espresso in the same drink when I ordered decaf, blended it and handed it back to me with the drink spilling down the sides. Absolutely poor customer service and staff never seems to get the simplest orders right.. normally I don’t even take the time to leave reviews but this location is absolute trash. Save yourself the trouble and go a couple minutes up the road to the Dunn avenue location.
Crowded, food wasn’t that great, coffee was ok. Small space, workers really do their best and it’s not their fault such poor structure offered by Starbucks.
So apparently they close at 8:50pm not 9:00pm like advertised. “I thought you closed at 9?” “Oh yeah we closed.” But continued to serve their friends who were there.
This is definitely one of the worst Starbucks in Jacksonville. I drink Starbucks everyday and I live close to this one so I have gone to this one for years. It’s always been a disaster. You can 100% guarantee your drink will be wrong and you will wait at least 30 mins no matter if you go inside/drive thru or mobile order. I actually feel bad for these employees I think the area it’s in needs another location to handle the amount of traffic this one gets. The employees never last they have an insane turn over rate with employees. I’m sure no one wants to stick around to get yelled at all the time by the customers. Do yourself a favor and go to any other Starbucks.
I gave a 1 start because they don't give Napkins, I come here 2-3 a week. That's a Pet peeve of mine. When you order food you expect to get Napkins, Everywhere else I go I get napkins without asking but not here. On a positive note, food is great and customer service is great. I know a won't star. Maybe a little harsh, but it's because of the frequency.
The customer service staff is really rude in the morning, which I completely understand because it is early. My orders are never consistent (despite order the same thing every morning) and I was denied a refund when things are wrong and caused me to be late for work. I am a regular customer that also comes through the day time and received a much better attitude from the employees.
