So I went through drive thru and got my usual. Trenta strawberry açaí refresher with lemonade and no ice. Same thing I always get. I pull up and pay and they go to hand me the drink and I can tell somethings off- the color- looks like it was made with water. Well I say something and the lady insists it was made with lemonade and says ‘we changed the bass recently’ yeah August of last year! Well I told them ‘I get that multiple times a week and that doesn’t look right. When did the base change’. Lady couldn’t even tell me- and says ‘I saw her make it’ well it’s cold and there’s a long line so I just take it- because the lady at the drive thru wasn’t going to change her stance- I take a few sips and can tell it was made with water. Didn’t get their names and it wasn’t on the receipt either- will be calling to complain later though
The staff and service is simply amazing at this location. I frequent the drive through and always receive prompt service and my coffee just the way I order. Today, I had an exceptional experience because my car broke down in the drive through line. The staff, especially Jason, was proactive to redirect the busy line and reassured me as we figured out how to move my car. It was a stressful situation eased by a level headed approach to making sure customers were served and I was taken care of. Extremely grateful for the kindness!
I tend to avoid Starbucks because I am not a huge fan of their lack of customer service, however today I visited this Starbucks for the first time. I was greeted immediately and everyone was smiling. Great start to my morning.
Amazing experience with friendly staff, even though I was only just doing a quick stop-by. I was working on my laptop between appointments and met Austin, the district manager. He's incredibly friendly and gave me an amazing coffee pairing experience! Who knew the Komodo Dragon coffee and cheese Danish would be such a great match?
The inside of the store is clean and new after the renovation! There aren’t many tables, and it’s not really that spacious. But they do have some patio tables. They have a lot of mugs now, so I can ask for coffee in it.
Kris is a great manager! I had a little confusion this morning as well as a drive thru barista..so I called the store to see what was happening as for I’ve never had issues at this store before. Kris was so apologetic and helpful. She went above and beyond helping me and my daughter receive our red cups ❤️
For the past three weeks, I have stopped going to Starbucks. I have been a loyal Starbucks customer for 21 years, and I know exactly how I like my coffee: a Grande Americano with room. “With room” means leaving some space at the top of the cup instead of filling it to the brim with extra water. I like my coffee strong. When too much water is added, the coffee becomes weak, and that is not how I enjoy it. Sometimes the water is not even hot enough. Over the last few weeks, I visited four different Starbucks locations, and none of them made my coffee correctly. Today, at the Starbucks on San Jose Boulevard and Old St. Augustine Road in Jacksonville, I ordered ahead using the app. When I went inside to pick up my order, only my coffee was sitting on the counter. Once again, the cup was filled all the way to the top, even though the sticker clearly said “leave room.” I politely asked for the drink to be remade, which is something I have had to do many times before. What disappointed me most was the attitude of the employee who remade the drink. She rushed through it and then set the cup down on the counter in a way that felt like she was throwing it rather than handing it to me with basic courtesy. She simply said, “Here you go,” without even a thank you. As you can see in the picture, the cup looked like it damaged, and the lid did not fit properly. I almost spilled hot coffee in my car. I am not asking for anything special, only for my coffee to be made correctly and for customers to be treated with respect. At this point, I do not plan on returning to Starbucks anytime soon.
