Love this place, great study spot and all the workers are super nice. On the other hand tho, can there be some sort of rule for starbucks like if you're going to sit inside, no super young kids? It's obvious most of the people here usually have a laptop or something to get work done, and it isn't exactly easy with 6 screaming kids running around.
They make my iced white mocha with no whip very well! Some people tend to put too much syrup or not enough... they do it perfectly, in my experience. A good balance of flavors. Staff is friendly. The drive through, however, is a hassle. It is not meant for so many cars to be in line. It begins right at the right turn to come in to the store's parking lot from Old St. Augustine. Because of this, it can get quiet conjested.
Best Starbucks in Jacksonville Florida hands down! Best Starbucks Manager World Wide!!! The manager and barista staff are so friendly and helpful. They always greet me as I enter, even when they've got a line. They always smile and attentively listen when I place me order. They are playful and offer friendly conversation while I wait to retrieve my beverages. The store is always clean, or in the process of being returned to the excellent conditions they maintain. Most of them genuinely look like they enjoy their job and therefore are glad to perform at incredible, almost breakneck speed and sharpshooter precision. I'm so glad there's a Starbucks here that truly upholds the quality and standards that Starbucks claims and promotes.
I think her name is Alona she was so sweet and kind and my Beverage was made perfectly. You do know they have no control over the parking Lot right? And I truly command her in being respectful and not going off on that crazy WOMAN I wanted to ask her what her Fn problem was! U got an issue ask for Manager but don't berate the Barista!!!
This is the best Starbucks located in Jacksonville. They never fail to make my online order to perfection no matter how I customize it or switch it up. I’ll always be a Sunday morning regular at this Starbucks location!
I have a great story to tell about this Starbucks. A few weeks ago my wife and I were driving around with our golden retriever and decided to swing in the Starbucks for a couple breakfast sandwiches and some hot drinks. As always the food and drinks were great but there was an added value. The young gentleman at the window that assisted us saw our golden retriever and asked if he might like a tiny cup of whipped cream. We were partially shocked because that was the first time something like that happened to us. When the associate handed The cup of whipped cream to me he said he calls it a puppuccino. Needless to say our golden retriever who’s name is Thor loved his little dessert. I have never been a frequent customer of Starbucks but after that I have found we go there much more often. I wish I got the young gentleman‘s name but hopefully maybe he will remember. I have attached a photo of our dog Thor enjoying his dessert. Needless to say a five-star experience and Starbucks has gained two loyal human customers and one loyal canine customer. Great job Starbucks!
Quick Service and friendly employees. Very clean chill space. I loved the music that they played today. Plenty of places to sit comfortably. The only thing that's awful is the parking lot. Getting into the drive-thru line is usually pretty difficult and a lot of cars are normally in the Drive-Thru line blocking traffic on Old Saint Augustine. The parking lot is very narrow as well.
I usually overlook the terrible parking lot situation that they seem to completely ignore. But today they decided that they were going to close their lobby and not update the app for mobile orders. When I got there a lady was walking away with her drinks, I knocked on the door because I didn't have time to go through the driveway and the app won't let you cancel your orders. They completely ignored me knocking and turned their phone off so no one could call in. So that I wasn't out money I went through the drive through line and they couldn't give a reason the lobby was closed and as for the app "only their manager can do that." I guess it was too much to call their manager to do it. Absolutely terrible customer support. ***Edit*** This has happened two more times since I wrote this.
I typically come to this location about twice a week and have great service; however I will no longer come here due to this experience. I ordered off the mobile app; like i typically do, but once I got to the store the inside was closed. I called to see if someone could kindly bring my order out as i did not have time to wait in the drive thru (which is why I did mobile) and she said she could not at this time. This was AFTER I saw her bring a man his order and AFTER I saw her ask the other man his name to bring him his order. By time she returned with the other man’s order there was 3 of us waiting outside to see if we could be helped. When I asked again if she could assist; she told us no she could not, closed and locked the door in our faces. If stores are not open inside for mobile orders, the app should show they are not available if there is no one willing to assist. And to the young lady that wanted to be selective to who she wanted to help today, this was the RUDEST experience I’ve ever had in any place of service.
This place is consistently tidy and well-maintained. The staff delivers exceptional customer service and consistently gets my order right. I highly recommend this Starbucks!
