All the staff was very nice and sweet, my nurse Ashley was the best! I could tell how passionate she is for her job. I wish I could know her last name so the hospital can know how amazing she is. I had a good experience at St. Joseph
As I entered the hospital all the employees were friendly and helped me get to where I needed to go. Then when I got to cardiology the nurses greeted me and introduced themselves by first name. I was nervous entering but their confidence built my confidence that all was going to be good. Then in the operating room each of the staff introduced themselves and let me know what was happening and they would take good care of me. I felt some pain at one point but they immediately took care of that. After the surgery I went back to recovery and Courtney was there to greet me and make sure all was well. I walked out feeling better and cared for.
Worst Hospital I have ever been to. The doctor that saw me was fine. But my nurse was extremely rude. I went in for pain from a pinched nerve, and I had trouble walking. I asked her to simply help my turn on my side and help me off the hospital bed. I fell and she walked away and got on her computer. I asked for a wheelchair at the least if she couldn't help. And they called security on me. Like I was one of the many homeless people who are walking around in the area. I recommend you never go here. If I could give it 0 stars I would.
My very first visit here was horrible. With a referral from my OB to see a hgh risk doctor I came in through the E.R on May 13, for pain at 16 weeks affecting pregnancy. I encountered the worst treatment during triage from Mid-level (Fayedra Hatfield,NP) the empathetic, discourteous she showed tells alot about her character. I was ask Rhetorical questions about my reason for being there for treatment. If other previous medical intervention didn't help. Just straight denied to render aide, after I explained to her I deserve to be treated with the same respect and dignity as I given her and I came in expecting to be seen not told it's not much I can do. How can you make such call without an evaluation first? I gave it two stars due to other staff being courteous and concerned, once they seen the frustration and pain I was in.
Loved my delivery nurses who helped me through out my stay, however i did not appreciate the triage nurses and how i was treated during. Horrible bedside manners. The 3 stars are only because of my delivery nurses, love them so much!!! And they are very appreciated. As for the triage, i was in so much pain i was at 5cm dialated and the nurse that took care of me (sarah) was basically like “ok just wait” they were understaffed and she was so upset n frustrated as she was the only nurse however im in pain and about to give birth that was not comforting for me at all. I waited hours in so much pain due to contractions. Honestly worse experience by far. And i do not understand as i was recommended to this hospital, wish i wouldve known. However my postpartum nurses, i cherish everyone of them and truly loved them so much, nurse brianna and nurse shaquita hands down the best!! Thank you for making me feel much more comfortable.
My experience was very disappointed in way patients had to wait for service or even get service at all. St Joseph is under staffed or have some RN and assistance care that are confused or don’t take their professional seriously. On the clock to get pay. I only seen housekeeping but once. I have to struggle to the bathroom and my bed wasn’t change and was soiled for 3 days. I only seen my doctor but once and had to demand release. I felt that the extra days was to bill Medicare for services not rendered but stay. I have been and stayed in large hospital where their professional was to help patients and wellbeing recovery.
I recently had my baby here exactly 5 days from this review and it was definitely worth it. I received excellent care from all my nurses. My baby received the same care as well. So thankful to have such great nurses and doctors.
Valet parking is no longer available. It was one of the things that truly appreciate it. Check in was easy method of payment plastic preferably. Everyone was nice professional they all had a Task to do and did it well. Everyone introduced themselves from the doctor to the Anesthetist to the person who put the IVN.
Never have I felt the need to leave one star but now I totally understand those people who say if they could give zero stars they would. I had the most horrible experience at this hospital I would never ever go back even if I had no other choice I’d birth in my car. I even had a doctor tell me to go and give birth somewhere else. The staff treats you as if they were the one paying for your medical needs. They tend to you whenever they have time. Horrible please do not go here
From the first person you encounter at the security desk to some of the nurses, there’s little to no respect for patients or family members. They need to give their staff etiquette lessons on how to treat the people that keep them employed. Very disrespectful. It’s sad for the few “good “ employees since they get the same wrap when a complaint is posted. Only came here because the doctor doing the operation, works out of this hospital.
