The worst hospital! I went to have my son the anesthesiologist seemed as if I was his first patient, he hit my spine TWICE. Which triggered a rare autoimmune disease. They let me leave with a headache AFTER giving birth. I couldn't sue because I was diagnosed with NMO!
Absolutely disgusting bathrooms. There was toilet paper filled to the top with bodily fluids and the other toilet was completely covered. Nasty hospital
Alexandria was my nurse in the ER and she was amazing. It definitely makes a difference when you’re not feeling well to have someone thats caring and compassionate. She was very professional and attentive. Thanks for having her on your team.
Dr. Now from My 600 lb Life currently works as a bariatric surgeon here at St. Joseph Medical Center 🏥. What a great well known respected doctor!
Had to bring my mom for blood work because her vehicle was in the shop. She was on the second floor and my 5 year old and I were on the first floor in the lobby. The woman from the front desk approached and asked if we needed anything and then proceeded to say we had to go outside. No children allowed anywhere. There are no signs and none of the paperwork mentions that children are not permitted. Bugs, mosquitoes and humidity was very uncomfortable for my child and I.
The only reason that I am giving this hospital a 2 star is because of your staff in your CT room from emergency. They went above and beyond the call of duty and for them I am truly appreciative. When I was being taken to the hospital through ambulance I asked could I pick the hospital I would be transported to, they told me no, we had to go to the closest one which was Saint Joseph, at first I was kind of worried about going there because I've never heard positive things about that hospital but I went anyway. The nurse was a kind person who started me on fluids and took my blood at a decent time. I am unsure who the doctor was soon no one introduced themselves as such. I was taken to get a CAT scan which caused me to go into another seizure, the staff in the CAT scan room were awesome I would never have wanted to replace them for anyone else at the time. After I was brought back into the room I was basically told about 10 minutes later that my cat scan came back fine and my blood work was regular which I was definitely happy with although I still didn't have an answer to what caused me to have three seizures in 2 weeks they released me and pretty much rushed me to leave anyway. I did leave with a prescription for my seizure medication, I called back up there to speak with whoever the physician was that I had possibly seen which I never knew or my nurse, I was left on hold for numerous minutes never to get anyone. I was upset about that but I said oh well I'll just wait to ask my Primary Physician. I called today to speak with someone about a back to work notice because I left my work when I came to the hospital so I needed a letter to return to work. they told me I would have to come up there to get the letter. Now I have a serious problem with that I cannot drive and I have no one to bring me there. That is an extreme inconvenience to me and by emailing it to me it would not take long at all. I feel that Saint Joseph's does not look out for their patience and their convenience at all. I would never recommend this hospital to anyone I was born at this hospital and I definitely wouldn't go back to this hospital again for anything. I am going to try to reach out to the president now in which I've left a couple messages and am waiting on a response.
I'm a disabled person was brought to this hospital by ambulance, first I'm insured, second it was the worst experience of my life I was in pain for hours the examination room was dirty with a hamper full of dirty linen, rude nurses and doctors, no bedside manners, wouldn't even honor the smallest requests for water, was given a pain pill with a little water only because they needed to Xray my leg, didn't cover me with any protection during my Xray, was literally mentally forced to sign out in the morning with no explanation of my condition, was told by a doctor show me where the exit was, no wheel chair and while in some pain on churches walked out and upstairs to the street I will in inform my blue cross insurance not to pay, only thing I can figure is there intake of homeless and overdose users are very high so they feel entitle to treat everyone the same, St. Joseph hospital doesn't even deserve the label of "St. Joseph" let alone one star
Hi my name is Wanda Johnson I was a patient here December 8 2023 I have COPD asthma etc my heart stopped in went in a coma With the help of God and the Doctor and nurses that took good care of me .I had a Trach in my lungs it has been removed as of this year 2025 am home doing well I say this to say that God does everything for a reason he brought me back and this is my testimony to God be the Glory God bless the doctor and nurses and the ICU team at St.Joseph Hospital
best hospital ever. Helped the love of my lives mother give birth to the best amazing angelic kid aka the loml. THANKYOU SO MUCH
I am extremely very irritated at the fact that the nurses did not keep up with my belongings while I was in the ER. They removed my very expensive grill out of my mouth and assured me that they would put it with my belongings failed to do so. Now the hospital is giving me the runaround and they don't know where it is. I appreciate the bedside manner, but I also don't appreciate coming home and I don't have all of my stuff. If I had the money, I would probably sue the hospital over my grill, but I'm not going to because I don't have the energy for all that but patient should be able to trust nurses to keep all their belongings together. Somebody probably stole it and sold it.
