Sonic Drive-In

Waited 15 min for a cherry limeade. They took and fufilled 5 drive through orders while I sat patiently waiting for a single drink. Your only bet at any service is ordering ahead or the drive through.

This is the WORST sonic I’ve ever been to. Waited at the drive thru for awhile and no one spoke to us. We pull up to the window and see 3 women doing nothing (there was also only one other customer there)… they take our order after finally noticing us after a few minutes lol. Then they hand us our blasts with ice cream all over the cup and ask if we want napkins for the mess they handed us… super sketch. Don’t come here

My apologies Sonic, I should have updated this. Thank you for your solution & returning all of purchase amount, I have returned & was 85% better! I would say 0 stars. I have 30 mins for lunch. I ordered on line to be picked up ($17 worth) at 7pm. I arrived as messege said & parked in stall, pushed button and that's about it. No one answered after sitting there 20 mins, with 2 cars going thru drive thru and getting their food, remind you my lunch is only 30 mins, thinking speaker wasnt working, I decided to pull around and went another #stall. I sat there for another 15 mins. It's now been 35mins on my lunch break, so seeing cars going thru drive thru I went there, car in front of me orders pulls forward and gets food and leaves. And here I am waiting, never got acknowledged at speaker either I sat in drive thru for another 10 - 15 mins. After sitting there 45 mins without even speaking to anyone, BY THE WAY TRIED TO CALL, RECORDING STAYED PHONE NUMBER IS DISCONNECTED! I had to leave without my $17 burger meal. I WANT MANAGERS # ANYONE?? Walked into Hawian Brothers, ordered, got food and left in under 3 mins!! I want my money back !!

I visited this location on 01/06/21 in the evening and it was great. I don't usually get ice cream because you usually don't get much of the topping but I got an M&M sonic blast and there were actually a lot of M&Ms in it and that was a pleasant surprise! I also got cheddar bites and they were nice and hot. The guy who took our order was also really friendly..wish I could remember his name because he was very good.

Our order took a little while to make, but 1) it was a large order and 2) our food was hot and fresh, so I'm okay with a bit of a wait! Our server was excellent; I didn't catch his name, but unlike so many other Sonic employees, he didn't stand around expecting a tip. This ended up earning him an even bigger tip.

Every single time I order here they mess my food up. They can't ever seem to get the chili cheese tots right; either barely any cheese, barely any chili, and/or the tray is barely filled up. We figured we'd go ahead and try the new peanut butter burger just to try it. Too bad we didn't get the chance to, because we paid for the peanut butter burger but all we got was a regular plain bacon cheeseburger, with the bacon being extremely burnt. I like crispy bacon but getting BLACK bacon on your sandwich is a little ridiculous. This location either needs to shut down, or they need to fire the staff working there. Because clearly none of them know how to do their jobs. Also, don't bother ordering on Doordash because when they inevitably mess your order up, you'll have to contact Doordash specifically to get a refund days later.

My recent experiences yielded really friendly customer service in the drive-thru and completely accurate orders with the app order option (correct down to the added sauces). At a time when it seems like you never get anything you order correct at any restaurant, I appreciate their attention to detail. My only complaint is that the bacon was all long strings of chewy fat (undercooked?). I just wouldn't get it again. Their iced coffee was really good though, sweet.

The Sonic located on Independence Ave KC MO 64124 is absolutely disgusting, horrible service. They didn't have ANY ice cream to make shakes on a Sunday noon, and they speak to you like they are bothered by your presence there, and they just want to get rid of you. The one located on Burlington Street N Kansas City MO is way better, clean, and ok service, and they have everything all the time. So food service and atmosphere depends on the location you go to.

The food was ok. I asked for extra of flavors and didn't get it. The wait for food/drinks at this location is ridiculous. I use my entire lunch break to get food. One thing I like here is the service. The people who work here are awesome. They are friendly and are working their behinds off!

If you come to this place you'll be lucky to even have your order taken 10 minutes after pulling up. I can understand being short staffed, but there's times I've gone when practically no one was here and it still took forever to get your order placed. Also, this is the only Sonic I can think of where they give you your shake in a plain soda cup and top. Multiple times I've had to ask to have the whipped cream and cherry added and then they still won't do it 50% of the time.
