Horrible service. Tried to order through the drive through with a fairly simple order of the Sonic cheeseburger with mozzarella sticks but not a meal deal. The attendant was horribly confused by this and asked us to repeat the order numerous times and finally to just pull to the window. It was clear it was not a volume issue. At the window we waited several minutes before a different attendant opened and tried to confirm our order. We informed the attendant we were asked to pull up and order at the window. We began giving the same order when she interrupted, said “hang on”, closed the window and walked away... we drove off.
We ordered online and ordered a shake and a slush they told us our order was received to come on through the drive through. When we got to the window they informed us that they didn't have any slushes of any kind and did not offer a solution so I asked for a refund. They said that they couldn't give a refund because we ordered online and we'd have to go through the company. So I asked what are they willing to do? He said well you could order something else so I settled for a diet cherry limeade. But why they don't have any slushes when it's 95° in the shade at 9:00 at night is beyond me and we were going to ask them why but he shut the window on us and we didn't even have a chance to utter the question.
took a chance on sonic, reluctantly because it was closest on my way to work. have had pretty ick food at this location a few times, but hoped it was a fluke. well i felt a blt was the no brainer thing to get for somethin you should be able to pull-off anywhere. SO pissed to open a sandwich with blackened toast, charred and sparse crumbs of burnt bacon, wilted slimey lettuce and equally sad tomatoes. No mayo to help the mess either. Threw it away after a couple bites. I could get a bigger, NOT BURNT sandwich at QuikTrip anytime, for less. I’m done with frozen uncooked chicken and burnt trash for restaurant prices at this Sonic
Pretty awful. Ended my drive thru order too soon and they can't reconnect to the speaker. So they have to send someone out to tell you to pull forward, but the person who does this is frustrated because of the misunderstanding.. chicken strips were cumulatively 2 out of 3 strips, and fragments at best.. after 20 minutes in the drive thru and after a less than adequate serving of chicken strips I decided I had a pretty awful experience. The cherry limeades are great. I've always really liked them.
I stay and work right by this sonic location even my coworkers dont go here and the service and food here is trash. We go right pass this sonic and go to the one in riverside they have better service and food it's like night and day. The manager here is too buddy buddy with the crew.
Not busy and food sucks! Cold, dry food!
Seems like every time I go there they can’t get anything right. Waited in line for about 20min and then everything I asked them to take off of my burger was on it and what I asked them to add was not on it. I worked in drive through in my younger days. It is listening to what they want and pushing the corresponding buttons. Not that hard just takes a little attention. I wish I had more choices closer to work. If so I would never come back.
Unfortunately, this location denied me a teacher appreciation deal through the company. All week it was a buy one get one free on blizzards but when I showed up and asked about the deal they said they won't honor it. I guess Sonic does not appreciate our educators. Other places like Whataburger and Chick-fil-A honored their deals. Sonic, you disappoint me
Went for lunch today and ordered a double hamburger that had cold hard hamburger patty that seems like it was made the day before, Spend $12-14 dollars and a fresh hamburger would be nice! Service was pretty good though!
*New review* If I could rate zero I would. This is by far the slowest and worst location in Kansas City. I have not had a single order come any faster than 20 minutes since I first posted this review. This location will never have my business again. *Previous review* If you like to spend 25 minutes of your 30 minute lunch break waiting on your order in the carport while the drive through just keeps going along, just to find out your order wasn't even rung in, this place is great!
