SimonMed Imaging - San Francisco Post St SFMRC

Personnel at the sites were professional and helpful. However, communication with Simon Med is terrible. The information sheet I was given had incorrect information about what services are offered at different locations and included locations that are actually closed. At a location listed as offering walk in X-rays I was told the machine had been broken for two years. It’s impossible to call a particular location - calls are directed to a call center that seems to be in India and their ability to answer questions is poor. At the same time they are constantly (at least once a day) sending texts and leaving voicemails to schedule tests that have already been scheduled.

The best thing about SimonMed are the staff! Period. Exclamation. They are a very busy facility due to serving Workmans Comp. Do not be put off by the general seedy/ dirty look of the waiting area...the neighborhood or the overall facility. The staff...especially 2 front receptionists...were so kind caring and compassionate!!! They deserve a huge raise in pay...they would be smart to get in at UCSF if SimonMed is not taking care of their workers financially The young man assisted me in rescheduling an over booked appointment. He was so kibd and calm and professional. The young lady receptionist had to put up with an angry irate screaming customer on the phone < she was so loud I could hear her in the waiting area!] She also reversed a wrong charge that had been made due to another receptionist not understanding my bill was taken care of by Workmens Comp I cant say enough great things about the staff...especially the front desk people. Understand this is an overbooked Workmans Comp office. Do not blame staff for their over crowdedness. They are wonderful workers and I hope SimonMed recognises their value! The rundown waiting room needs help. With it's filthy rug and no lighting. The resptionest was rude. The equipment was old and outdated. I'll never go there again.

I booked my mom's mammogram here today, I got her an uber because she's old and I can't come take her. She got there 25 minutes before her appointment to tell her they're cancelling all mammogram appointment since they don't have a technician. They didn't even call her or sent her an email, or didn't even gave her a text to let her know they're cancelling her appointment. Now I have to uber my mom back home, she needs to take another day off from her job. What a joke

Appointment was cancelled a few hours before and relocated in the city at a different time. When I arrived, the doctor referral and insurance were no longer in the system and I had to provide it all again. It felt like a discontinued and disorganized flow. Compared to UCSF Mission Bay, the facility is aging and so look the equipment.

Waited almost 1 hour. I arrived 10 minutes early to my appt. The tech was not friendly, overworked when it was finally my turn. The 3 clerks at the desk did not apologize or say anything to say my appointment was late. Instead the talked personal conversations or lunch cravings

If they SimonMed would invest a tiny amount into painting the lobby, adding colorful art, the physical space wouldn't be so unattractive and seemingly uncared for. The people were nice and the equipment seems adequate.

I just had another MRI and all went well. The link to fill out your medical record was malfunctioning. The desk rep said he only had received half of my answers. So I had to fill out the rest of the form again. Please have your address and phone # on all forms. Otherwise, a pleasant experience .

Everybody in the center is very friendly and helpful. Yvette in particular made me feel comfortable and show that she is very professional. Thank you!

My rating is specific to the SimonMed Imaging on Post ST - that team turned my very poor experience with SimonMed around completely. Huge thank you to Kianaye, Kaitlyn, Cedric, and RICHARD! I apologize for any misspelling. Special shout out to Richard who absolutely recovered what would’ve been yet another visit to the imaging center because I was scheduled incorrectly.
