Nice clean store with a good selection. Nice staff. Expensive, compared to other grocery stores. Went to the deli and got 2 slices of rotisserie turkey with garlic chili noodles. The turkey was very dry and the noodles bland.
An exceptional market/grocery store. Great selections, expertly merchandised. Samples of items to tease on. Excellent stock of local delicacies like a Poke Bar or Lopez Island ice cream or perhaps Ellenos Marion Berry or pumpkin yogurt.
I can't believe it took me so long to get to these guys and make sure I give them the the utmost respect and love for all the hard work they do for the holidays I use them damn near every year for some big holiday dinner ( if you're lucky enough to get the holiday potatoes you know what I'm talking about). I also use the deli and breakfast bar any chance I'm in the neighborhood, just absolutely love everything they do the selection of everything is great.
Met Market is the top notch swankety swank grocery on Seattle's West side. Super hot case, deli, desert counter, amazing service! Don't fret Safeway is across the street if you need the cheap stuff. Met's produce is the best anywhere. Many of the cars in the parking lot are expensive so be careful with your cart and mindful of door dings. The cornerstone of the Admiral market. Get a bite here and see a movie at the Admiral Theater. This store is chock full of the good stuff.
Purchased flowers from Maurika in the floral department last weekend. She took my selected hydrangeas and tulips and made a beautiful bouquet for a family member. She is definitely talented. We love this store - used to live close and would visit it often. Now we stop by as tourists when in town.

All met markets I’ve been to have great tasting deli food but not every met had such great baristas! I absolutely love getting my coffee here, tastes delicious every time!
Their fruits are amazing, healthy snacks... However, it is ALL OVERPRICED and their employees are just straight rude!!! Never have I felt so uncomfortable shopping in a grocery store. I spend anywhere from 20-100$ every time I set food inside the store but for some odd reason someone is always following me and accusing me of stealing. The other day a worker refused my business at the check out line. Apparently my money is no good here. I work at a gas station and don't get paid very much but I sure do spend lots of money here. I ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT SHOP HERE EVER AGAIN. I understand theft is a huge problem for businesses and anyone who steals should by all means suffer the consequences... I am not that person. This post is very unlike me and I'm usually a pretty easy guy to make happy... But my last experience here made me very upset and I took offense to it. Anyway, I'm not going to let it ruin my energy. I hope no other customers get the same treatment that I have had at this store. Sending love and light out to everyone and I hope anyone who has read this has a beautiful rest of their day!!! I would like to complement Paula, who is often'Front end' Of the store. She is an incredible multitalented manager . She pays a lot of attention to what's going on on a broad spectrum and takes the well-being of the customers and store seriously. She is a huge asset Two Metropolitan market. A true manager. I am so glad that the David manager who was there around 2022 is gone. His nasty attitude and horrible Customer Service was the opposite of everything that Metropolitan Market stands for. I hated coming to that store when he was the manager. There has been a great improvement in hiring, friendly and helpful staff in the last few years. Thai In grocery is another stellar employee at the store. He is so competent it's amazing! So things are getting better around there(Especially with nasty David gone... Thankfully) Paula should be held onto like the precious top notch employee that she is. Promote her!
THE COOKIE. Metropolitan market has some awesome stuff in the store, but the cookie is the beat thing there.
