Interesting store, unique products. Way to expensive. I don't shop here.
Outstanding like always, however, it was Friday, and the pizza was 2 for $5, and there was someone making fresh pizza, and he had a full cart of pizza made. The pizza that was being served looked like it was made in the morning and had been sitting for hours after being cooked very rough. We asked how long before he made it fresh, and he said that he was making tomorrow's pizza and wasn't making any more for today. I shop here all the time and spend a lot of money. The standard of the hot food area has dropped tremendously. I say that not just because of this one time, but I ordered $700 worth of food for Christmas and not only did they not have the order ready when they said but I had to wait an hour for them to get it ready. I ordered over a week ahead of time, and they had to substitute a casserole for a salad from the glass case, and nothing I liked even went with the ham. We planned our trip a few months back, and it was very inconvenient to drive during rush hour, which would have been avoided if it was ready. I don't blame the pizza guy, but whoever is in charge needs meet the standards they charge for. The 3 stars I gave are because of the last two times I shopped. Normally, it's 5 stars every time!
I LOVE metropolitan market! I always get amazing food from them. And usually I get fantastic customer service. This night as I was waiting at the deli counter a woman named Paula started yelling to a gal who was fully back of house about how she needed to send someone to the cheese department. The woman who was working back of house calmly explained why she did not have anyone to send. Paula started to yell again. At that point I gently touched Paula’s elbow and told her that her yelling at workers is very uncomfortable for the shoppers. She left and then went back of house where I saw her still yelling at her worker/ coworker. It was horrible.
Purchased flowers from Maurika in the floral department a couple times. She was so helpful picking out flowers for a couple bouquets even when I was just a walk up and was able to help me make the bouquets in a couple minutes! Thank you!!
They have it all! The prepared foods are fantastic. Beer and wine selection is great. Flowers and bread are very fresh.
Fantastic store, great produce, deli, cheese case ,etc. Can be expensive bit a great quality. Many unique and delicious items. Prime rib sandwich is the bomb.
This is my all time favorite grocery store. Best prepared foods, butcher cuts, produce, and cheese. And also the best French dip in Seattle. What more could you want?
Hot bar salad bar poke bar top notch bakery treats. Pretty decent grocery selection. Not the cheapest place, you can shop but worth it when you do.
Ordered in lunch via Doordash. Sandwich was supposed to be hot but it was stone cold (tho it was tasty with nice bread). The fruit salad was all melon, no berries as pictured. Update: I called them and to their credit they replaced everything!! Another star earned
