Overall, we like Met. 4.5/5 We wish it could be bigger and a bit less spendy, especially for produce. It's clean, most of the staff are helpful and kind, and we appreciate the high quality of products.
Just purchased 2 bouquets of tulips this morning from Maurika at the West Seattle store. She was lovely! Not only were my flowers wrapped beautifully , but she and I had a conversation that transcended the usual small talk. I recently lost my partner and her kindness and interest was a great pick me up. We absolutely LOVE the sushi here! It’s the only thing we come for, and it never disappoints—fresh, delicious, and worth every penny. While the store has a wide variety of high-quality products, the sushi is truly the standout for us.

Quaint store with beautiful flowers, a beautiful display of organic fruits and vegetables, hand crafted cheeses and now salami from Salumi.
Not sure who does the hiring at this location but just want to say to whomever: Job well done! I am disabled and in a wheelchair and became stranded there at the West Seattle location temporarily as Access transportation service was detained an extra hour and a half and your staff was so kind and went above and beyond for me when they noticed me with my grocery bags in my lap and that I was still there…and still there…and yes, still there waiting for my Access ride to retrieve me. So thank you so much to Lance, Lorraine (sp?), Marisa and Paula who offered help and did help me each individually in various ways and made the very long wait (what ended up being a 3 hour wait because I finished before my initial Access pick up window) bearable and lucky for me even pleasant because of their kindnesses. Kudos WS Metropolitan Market! ♥️
