Absolutely phenomenal! Lonnie’s Reno Club is an absolute gem and one of the best nights out you can have in Kansas City! Lonnie is a powerhouse of talent—his versatility is truly astounding. From the moment he hits the stage, you’re captivated. He tells fascinating stories about Kansas City’s rich jazz history, sings with soul and style, plays the trumpet with effortless beauty, and yes—he even tap dances! His energy is infectious, and the entire band is just as brilliant. Every musician on that stage is world-class. And the experience doesn’t stop at the music. The three-course dinner was out of this world—every dish beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Huge kudos to the Chef for crafting such a memorable meal. The service was just as exceptional—Josh and Mara took amazing care of us all night. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure everyone had a great time. Lonnie's Reno Club is a happening place. A great vibe, fantastic cocktails, a fun and delicious menu and on top of it a floor show. Lonnie McFadden a KC legend has enough energy for 10 people. The musicians he surrounds himself with are second to none. Lonnie's stories of his legendary family and his own personal jazz journey is the true reason to not miss going. Downstairs in the Ambassador Hotel is the speakeasy that is reminiscent of earlier days. With photos of Jazz greats from KC. We are going to go back for sure. Rumor has it a true jazz jam session will be starting soon on a week night. If you love to see an entertainer own the room and give more energy to a performance then you maybe have ever seen. We held our wedding reception at Lonnie's Reno Club, and it was absolutely the perfect choice. From the unique atmosphere to the top-notch entertainment, everything came together to create an unforgettable evening for us and our guests. The venue itself has a warm, intimate feel with great acoustics and a classy vibe—ideal for a celebration like ours. The staff was professional and welcoming, making sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. What truly made the night stand out, though, was the live performance by Lonnie and his band. They brought so much energy, talent, and personality to the evening—it was impossible not to get swept up in the music. The entertainment was a huge hit with everyone in attendance. In fact, several of our guests mentioned they’re already planning to come back for a show in the future because they enjoyed it so much! We’re so glad we chose Lonnie's Reno Club for our special day. If you're looking for a venue that combines great ambiance with amazing live music, this place is a gem. Highly recommended.

There is a three course menu option. Pictured is Caesar salad, eggplant parmesan, beef Wellington as well as another chicken dish. Everything is delicious! The music and atmosphere is amazing!

Highly recommend if you live in KC or are visiting. Lonnie and his band are superb. Very engaging with the audience and great music. Dinner and wait staff are excellent. You won't be disappointed.

Awesome night!! Had the best time!! Took a new friend there who just relocated from New York City, we were both super impressed with Lonnie, his talent, graciousness and enthusiasm. I’ll be back with more friends soon. If you are looking for a great evening out, date night or live entertainment, this is the place!

Wow! Cannot recommend enough. Just discovered Lonnie’s tonight. Lonnie is a phenomenal entertainer - even when recovering from surgery. This club even had fantastic gluten free options for my partner and I. If you’re thinking about going, let this be the sign that you should go.
