Jess and her team are very kind and accommodating. Really great to work with. They were able to complete my rush order 2 days faster than the quoted date. However the base cost was quite expensive for a bridesmaid dress tailoring. $45 for a strap adjustment and $115 for a double-layer hem. I also received the dress back with a stain that I am not able to remove even though I was told it would “come off with a steamer” which is why I have to give a low rating. Hoping this is just a fluke and not a consistent issue for their customers. Otherwise I had an enjoyable experience and the tailoring work was done well.

I can't recommend Jess and LNC enough. The attention to detail is on another level. They did expert surgery on the blazer, reshaping the shoulder pads with precision. The final result looks like it was made for me. If you want meticulous work, this is the place to go.

I won a hand made qi pao from Jess’s shop from an action and I have to praise the craftsmanship, detail, fine fabric, and Jess’s commitment to preserving tradition. Her mentality goes beyond the blending of cultures, whether it be east meets west or hand stitching versus refusing to use digital sewing machines. She picks the best parts of each and executes them individually when appropriate. Not only can Jess make clothes, but every bespoke tailor can also make alterations and NOT the other way around. It is so impressive how Jess is a bespoke tailor and NOT just an alterations specialists and she splits her team to be just alterations versus bespoke!

My dress was not a bespoke job but Jess still brought me in for a second fitting because I wanted to change the current style of my existing casual dress. They took measurements and redid the entire top half of the dress so I could wear my dress halter style with a lower neckline plus open/tie back at the end. It’s perfect for the summer. Also, Jess, the owner, held onto my dress for 60 days. Their policy is 30 days but I picked up way later. It’s a cute/small shop that handles an insane amount of orders in a timely manner so pick up your orders on time so they have space to keep operating.

I had a wonderful experience with LNC Tailors, who tailored my Ulla Johnson multi-tiered silk print A-line dress for a special event. The dress originally had a very full ruffled skirt, and they expertly reduced the volume while keeping the movement and beauty of the design intact. They also hemmed the dress perfectly. What really stood out was the level of care and craftsmanship. They spent nearly 30 minutes doing my fitting, carefully pinning the multi-tiered dress to make sure the tuck and taper were exact, and making it into more of a straight column shape. Later, Jess, the owner, kindly sent me a detailed video explaining two possible silhouettes: Option A: a column fit or Option B: a softer A-line fit, which was incredibly helpful and thoughtful. We ended up choosing a beautiful combination of both. They had me come back to a refitting to make sure that I absolutely loved the fit before cutting all the seam allowances (which they saved just in case) and hemming it close properly afterwards. There are no additional fees for extra fittings. The result is perfect. The dress fits flawlessly, and the ruffles flow beautifully when I walk. The sewing and finishing are impeccable, and the turnaround was impressively quick. Thank you to Jess and Clint for your attention to detail, skill, and genuine care throughout the process. They don't mind spending the extra time and communicate so clearly that anyone can understand. Truly beautiful work. I highly recommend LNC Tailors for all your tailoring requirements, big and small.

Their work is impeccable. I brought in a brand new suit that needed not only the pants hemmed, but also the jacket taken in to tailor the entire suit to my fit. The results were excellent. Even though everything came out great, I wanted a slight adjustment to the jacket’s fit, and they were more than happy to accommodate my request. They also treated my wife with a fun Knicks colored headband made by themselves as the city celebrates the team’s triumph. A very thoughtful touch.

10/10 stars if I could! I am super picky about my clothes and would tailor them myself if I knew how to! How lucky then, to be in the hands of Jess at LNC Tailor. I brought in 3 blazers with sleeves that needed to be shortened. Jess was beyond patient and super friendly. She walked me through the sleeve length options and other minor tweaks needed to keep the blazer proportional, explaining what would be more traditional vs. more trendy. I felt comfortable and well-informed before deciding on the final adjustments. In the height of wedding season, Jess can still give you enough attention that she will even call out edits on pieces you did not bring in to tailor with her. I brought in a custom dress shirt to try on with the blazers I wanted Jess to tailor. While working on the blazers, she went a step above by calling out that my shirt was too long and pinned up the shirt so I can take it back to Ascot Chang (where I bought it from) so they know how much to hem off for me. Additionally, when Jess says she will follow up after the shop closes to see if she can rush an order for you or not, she really will stay 3 hours after closing and get back to you with realistic expectations. Thanks a million! So grateful to have found a go-to shop for all my tailoring needs.

I had to attend my best friend’s wedding so I took my suit to a professional for alteration. My suit turns out great and fits perfectly, all thanks to the owner, Jess. Jess is so polite and generous. Her interns are so sweet and funny. Jess leads a team of 4 tailors. 2 of her tailors are female tailors while 2 of the other tailors are male tailors. Jess herself does men’s suits (very rare) and female qi paos and wedding dresses. I also seen her take apart 1 long dress and turn it into 3 clothing items for a customer! The shop is well organized and there is even a wall with old school photos documenting their 46 years of family business. Jess was awarded for her customer service by NYC city comptroller Mark Levine earlier this year so I am not surprised LNC can last this long admits the age of technology! Update: Jess’s shop does anything from sewing on a button to the Met Gala. She’s currently working on the Tribeca Film Festival and she and her team are on the red carpet doing last minute repairs and alterations—like she literally has thread and needle in her clutch ready to go! And Jess is wearing her own label while on the red carpet. They take their craft so seriously, it’s admirable!

1. Fully relined my overcoat AND preserved the original pockets on the inside. They used a high quality silk lining as well AND reattached my Albione brand tag. The attention to detail is unrivaled 2. Took in the shoulder on my half lined Dolce & Gabbana linen blazer and redid the pipping BY HAND with the original silk for no extra charge They have been making suits for President Ronald Reagan since 1980 and their tailors have over 30, 40, 50 years of experience from Hong Kong, Poland, and France. They are the OGs who do not depend on social media nor technology—they depend on their craft. Probably the last of their kind. Will be back for a bespoke suit soon!

Jess is my go-to tailor for anything from qipaos to pants to suits. She knows what to do to make your clothes fit perfectly and is so kind and funny as a person. Her service is fast and professional, and I always feel confident in her assessment on fixes needed on our clothes!
