LNC Tailor & Bespoke Shop est 1981

I’ve had five pairs of pants & two jackets tailored at LNC Tailor. Each time the work has surpassed my expectations. Most recently I brought my Budweiser Racing Jacket to LNC Tailor to see if they would be able to tailor it to fit me better without having to remove any of the details. Master Tailor Susana, a sports jackets specialist, went above and beyond. Susana hemmed the sleeves shorter via the shoulders, brought in the left and ride sides, and hemmed the jacket shorter while keeping original hem. With all items I’ve brought to LNC Tailor, there has been great attention paid to the details and Jess is very transparent about what is possible or not possible in order to maintain the integrity of the garment. LNC Tailor consistently goes the extra mile to perform the work in the proper way, even if it requires more work than initially discussed.

They have the French hem/clean finish down on high end dresses. LNC will do multiple fittings with you just to make sure they get things right. They will also rush things for you if you are leaving for a trip. Jess even held my pup by her leash so I could do my fitting. And they do not depend on social media but their craft to gain recognition! So glad I found a tailor I can trust with my nice clothing :)

Such an amazing shop with the kindest people. They were able to address any concerns regarding taking in my satin bridesmaid dress while being honest with any potential changes/risks due to the material of my dress. Would trust them with anything - will definitely be back!

This is my go to place to get tailoring! I have made a lot of previous difficult requests and they always come through with amazing prices! I got these amazing pants tailored because they were too long and they offered me many different options to maintain the integrity of the pants! I fully recommend others to come here!!

I am a Parsons graduate and want to give LNC some flowers. LNC does anything from basic alterations/sewing on a button to complex bespoke projects. They are some of the last remaining tailors who still hand draw patterns and make a muslin sample for every single bespoke project before cutting onto the final fabric. Their commitment to being thorough and authentic is only rivaled by their level of customer service. They gauge if you are cold or hot and already ran downstairs to purchase a drink for you without being asked. They are an old school gem.

Jess + her silk specialist did a fabulous job taking my 100% silk, overlaid pleated with seam door dress in at the waist and bust! I wanted a more figure flattering look and she definitely achieved that while still maintaining the pleats which was my biggest concern. She explained everything that would need to be done with it so there would be no surprises and provided pricing right away. I got $10 off for being a new customer. It was all done by hand and I was super impressed. I have already returned to have some jeans taken in and hemmed.

Great quality great service extremely fast turn around in busy wedding season! Brought in a men’s vintage two piece suit and Jess worked some miracles and let out sleeves and hems and took in the waist and fits like a glove. Been coming to LNC for years but first time at the new location. Will Be back soon! Thank you!

Gone to them about 5x in 6 months for altering items. Jess is thorough from beginning to end—she uses her designer and styling background to help you accomplish your tailoring goals and is honest about how to fix something or whether it is doable (which I appreciate)! If she knows you have a trip coming up, she will make it work to get you what you need when you need it.

Jess really, really works with you. She explains pros of cons of tailoring a certain way (even if it is common knowledge because some folks might just not get it) and will do extra work to make the situation better without charging you extra. I like the proactiveness she takes and how she always keeps the garment’s best interest in mind for you. Plus, if you have some items that need to be rushed, she will skip her lunch and rush the ones you need first and will tell you exactly how much more time she needs for the other items that you are collecting later.

Long overdue review -- I brought a vintage Armani dress I found on the RealReal to Jess and she made absolutely sure that we preserved the original design of the piece while tailoring it to my needs. Amazing service and precise craftsmanship by Susanah 😇
