LNC Tailor & Bespoke Shop est 1981

Went with my girlfriend to get her dress taken in. We were greeted by the owner and she quickly got to work for a rushed order that we needed next day. Without any hesitation, Jess figured out what we needed and let us know how much and when to expect it to be done. At a more than fair price, we were able to pick up our piece even quicker than expected. The dress came out perfectly and we could not be more satisfied! Great, friendly service at a great price. 10/10 recommended.

Jess and her team are incredibly diligent and truly care about customer satisfaction. I came in to have a long skirt tailored, and during the first fitting I accidentally pulled the skirt up too high, which affected the hem length. Even though it was completely my mistake, they kindly redid the alterations for free. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent customer service really stood out. I highly recommend them!

Had a few bridesmaid dresses altered for weddings this summer. This dress I needed taken in about an inch, but because of the corset structure in the dress they had to take it in from the zipper and reconstruct. Needed help zipping up in the morning, but worked out great! Jess explained everything about each dress to get them fitting right for me and it was a pretty quick turnaround even though it was peak wedding season!

Jess and her team did such an amazing job with all of my pieces, especially the ones that were special asks, such as keeping the original hem of my Alice & Olivia jeans (literally so perfect you can’t even tell I got them shortened) and trying to ensure my front clasp corset top wouldn’t suddenly open. I also appreciated when she told me it would be impossible to make a piece work because of the boning. Will keep continuing to bring all my alterations here!

Absolutely loved my experience! Jess is very detailed oriented and helps you understand how your clothes work. I had a bespoke suit that I grew out of, and Jess helped me not just resize, but altered it such that it fits my current build better. I would visit them again for my future alterations and perhaps even a bespoke suit!

I’ve been coming to LNC Taylor for a while and I will definitely keep coming back. Old school business, great quality, and fair prices. The owner Jess is really nice, has a great eye for fit and is very communicative. She explains in detail why something doesn’t fit right, what can be fixed and what not, what are the must-do alternations to improve fit and what are nice-to-have, and lets you take informed decisions without feeling pressured. I’ve had many clothes altered including suits, blazers, pants, sweaters, and they also mended holes on my girlfriend’s sweaters. They always do their best to deliver as fast as they can, and often Jess called me to let me know the alterations were ready ahead of schedule. Final shout out to Jess’s intern JJ for taking all the time needed to make sure my linen suit fit exactly the way I wanted. Super happy with the final result!

They are popular because of their attentive customer service and 46 years of experience while still being very, very efficient. The were 6 people in line and the wait was 8 minutes total. They make it clear what your pick up date AND time is for your order and ask you to ask questions before you leave the shop, so if you change your mind after you leave the store and need something (more) rushed even if it is by a day, know that they probably already took in 50 more new orders in 1 day! My flight ended up getting canceled and rescheduled for the next day, so I did not end up needing a rush after all—phew! I made it to the Indian wedding just fine and my dress is so much more fitting now. It used to be 2 sizes too big and LNC took 5 seams apart to tuck it in and hand beaded back the beads!

LNC is thorough through and through. Jess would rather do a refitting and do more work and take her time and not charge you extra. They will bring you back for a refitting when they are half way done and will stay late after closing to finish the remaining half if need be just for you. I told them to take more time and am very happy with how the pants turned out. They even had them ready in the fitting room for me to try on. The process that they use to guarantee success for every garment they take in and guarantee customer satisfaction is commendable.

Jess and her team did a great job of turning my maxi dress into a mini dress! They hemmed the inner and outer layers, and kept the high-low style. Whenever I’ve stopped by, they’re also very attentive to the people in the line out the door (even handing out cold bottled water in the summer). I especially appreciate that Jess takes the time to explain what changes she plans to make and why.
