The store itself and MOST of the staff is ok except the one elderly lady who works the self checkout in the mornings. Very miserable, snippy and condescending. She'll yell at you if you're not scanning properly.

Very well stocked Fred Meyer Location. All the Fred Meyer stores are pretty nice but this one is exceptionally clean and very large.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Fred Meyer clothing section this Monday. I was approached by a tall female employee with a piercings who was extremely rude. Instead of offering help or customer service, she told me that if I wasn’t buying anything and was “just messing around with the clothes,” I needed to leave. Her tone and attitude were unprofessional and completely unacceptable. As a customer, I should be able to browse without being confronted or made to feel unwelcome. This interaction left a very negative impression, and I hope management takes appropriate steps to address this behavior so future customers are treated with respect.

Decent store. Pretty much everything you’d expect from a grocery store. Staff are helpful but not overly friendly and some things seem kinda overpriced.

It took countless visits to go this far to review this particular Fred Meyer location, but there seems to be a pattern of behavior with several employees employed by Kroeger stores in the Portland area. From rude behavior to staff being confrontational to lack of empathy and respect, this location's employees are so insufferable and rude that it leaves a customer who is very friendly and respectful to wonder exactly how this behavior is tolerated. This doesn't apply to all, but many. If you can't ask an employee of a store a question about products without distain and contempt coming back in your direction...that store shouldn't be in business. This is just the tip of the iceberg with this location as well as the Johnson Creek one. It's as if they are both trained by the same book of anger and discord. I could go on about false information being relayed by staff, doors being shut in your face when your inches away, being forgotten and allowed to roam for long periods of time when somebody is supposedly "looking for things in the back" only to find out they went on their break and forgot all about the customer waiting, etc and the list goes on. Here's the funny thing, most of the staff that lacks professional courtesy at this location are the older staff members. Nothing against older staff either because the Hawthorne location has one of the best Fred Meyer employees ever (Larry) who is an older gentleman. Times are tough, we as shoppers get it, but please stop treating all patrons as if they are the same ones that steal, trespass, vandalize, etc. What happened to the good old Fred Meyer days when staff remembered customer names, employees actually smiled and before assumption and "I'm just having a bad day" wasn't commonplace.

This fred meyer location regularly has what I need and then some. Produce looks good and fresh, wide selection in the bakery department and a very plentiful cheese/charcuterie department! Being as it's a "full-size" freddies-for lack of a better term- I usually get caught up perusing the clothing area because I lived next to a location that was grocery-only for a long time, so i like to take advantage of that! The staff here is usually in good spirits as well...Not seemingly overworked or particularly irritated. Management should feel proud about this, as it's not a small feat..... the same definitely cannot be said about all of the locations that I've visited!

Your organic overpriced blueberries are nasty. They don't taste like blueberries. I don't know what this is, it's very dishonest because these taste nothing like farm blueberries. I go you picking all the time and I know what organic blueberries should taste like, I'm aware of different breeds too. This just tastes like bad water. There's no sweetness and there's no sourness like usual blueberries have. Go to an actual local farm and try their blueberries, those are amazing. These quite literally suck, it's not blueberries.

Friendly staff. Superb Customer Service, resolving any issues and problems promptly and to my benefit. Prices are great. The new app is fantastic. Coupons ready to find and clip. Store is clean and well stocked, work plenty of variety. Produce and meat departments are picture perfect and delicious. It's Whole Foods-quality without the pretentious Whole Foods prices. A+; 5-Stars.
