About the last Fred Meyers left in Portland it seems like . Clean great service. I ended up buying the engagement ring for my fiance here, very helpful in the jewelry department. Edit: unfortunately we had a house fire, and lost the ring to the fire. We will be back in soon to pick out a new ring 💍

Freddy's has just about everything you need it is a truly one stop shop. Some of the security people are very overbearing

not sure why the self check-out machines don’t automatically print a receipt if security needs to check them. and maybe security shouldn’t act like i’m stealing simply because i didn’t have a receipt—not sure why it’s on me to know this policy lol. will not be shopping here again.

It's nice to see that this location no longer feels the need to have the 3rd party security officers kitted out as if they were stationed in the gulf during conflict, and has switched back to your typical officers. The oppressive atmosphere that was present for so long is no longer present, and I no longer baulk at having to go here

Horrible pharmacy they never have prescriptions ready I called a week and a half ago to pick up a prescription they said it wouldn’t be ready until 29th which is okay because medication must be taken once at the end of the month but I wanted to make sure it would be ready so I asked will it be ready on the 29th or would I have to call ahead she said it would be ready to pick up on the 29th, The 29th comes and I call to double check if it was ready without wasting gas but she said it wasn’t and they would have to order it for the next day we call today and it’s still not ready and they said it should be ready in a few hours extremely unprofessional idk what system they have for that but it definitely needs to be reworked or hire more professional people that want to help patients with the medication they need

Beware online pickup, you'll sit in your car twice as long as it would take to shop yourself. Only one person working to bring out orders for 10+ cars. It might be free but my time isn't.

Large store, great deals and a large variety of products to choose from. And IF one specifically shops the deals in advance, plus buys the living out of "it/them," a person can get a month's worth of groceries (along with 24 of {insert sale here}) for under $200 easily (but that's just food only). However, if a person shows up without any preplanning whatsoever, it's easy to spend $200 in for only 5 days worth of groceries. Know what I mean? Oh, and speaking of which, let me just say that, it's amazing (in the most demoralizing way) to note the difference that 5 miles makes in the way that shoppers are treated here as opposed to less inner city shops. The same can be said for how those same employees seem to think/feel about their own jobs. I mean, I get it; a lot of us do. I guess...it's just a matter of walking that fine line between trying your hardest to provide good customer service, and trying your best to simply smile. 🫣

Lazy and unfriendly staff. Was at the self check out so long waiting on needless assistance from a clerk, that I just left. Great tactic for helping me save money. Also the security guard with Executive Security Services was rude and profiled my friend. Clearly poorly trained. Get you people to do their jobs. Will not come in again. Pick another location or order pickup. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

There are never enough checkers or people in their “Customer Service” area. I’m currently waiting for customer service in line, 9 people deep with just one single person to deal with it. The store has gotten dirty and expensive. This is what Kroger did to Fred Meyer. Shameful. It used to be a great store. Now it’s just another corporate owned impersonal and disappointing experience.
