I come in here all the time I only live a few blocks away. Normally I love coming here and a good amount of the staff recognize me. However this is the second time I have came in to buy something essential and they have closed ten minutes early. I told the worker I just need to buy toilet paper and knew exactly where it was. They simply said they were closed and walked away.

This store is massive I couldn’t find the restroom or an employee to ask. The security guards look like extras from robocop. The set up is very interesting I went to self checkout to pay but after you paid and left you were still in the clothing part of the store. It was like a JCPennys. The security guards super hot. Why is everyone in Portland carrying backpacks

Nothing negative to say aside from a pretty bad shoe selection, which doesn't warrant a star imo. My last trip here, employees were very helpful and friendly. Store is easy to navigate and had no trouble.

Literally came here in the morning and Easter things were 90% off, purchased some things, came back at 2:30ish pm same day and it was back to 70%. I showed the employee my receipt and when I asked the employee why they said “because things were moving and they decided to change it back.” That’s so crooked of them. What a shitty money grabbing decision .

We had a really helpful checker, kind, friendly and being new to the area and Fred Meyers he made helpful suggestions about getting discounts and or rewards. I wish I could remember his name, tall guy long curly blonde hair.

Friendlier staff, much larger selection then the stadium Freddie's. Further away from the west side, but regardless my go to for big box stores. Has a huge parking lot and a bike rack, but it is a regular one not a biketown one, and I'm not sure about transit accessibility. Seems more oriented toward people with cars. Please add a biketown rack here!

I had a pretty bad experience at this Fred Meyer. I went in there last Saturday to take advantage of the deal they had: spend $50 and get $10 off. When I entered the store, I asked one of the staff ladies if it was okay for me to come in with my small backpack 🎒, and she said I was totally fine. So I went to check out what kind of jeans they had, and it took me a while to find someone. I asked a guy—Timothy was his name—and he immediately gave me a very dirty look when he saw my bag. I asked him to please unlock one of the jeans so I could try it on in the fitting room. He took forever to unlock one pair of jeans, and when I was about to enter the fitting room, he said I had to leave my bag outside. I said, “OK, you’re going to be watching it, right?” and he said, “No.” I asked, “What if someone takes my bag?” He replied, “That’s on you for leaving it out.” I said, “You’re the one telling me to leave it out here in the open,” and he started getting rude and sarcastic. So I went and asked a manager if I could leave my bag somewhere in the front of the store because I wanted to try on a pair of jeans before buying them. She said, “You can leave it somewhere around here, but I cannot guarantee it will be there when you come back.” I asked why they wouldn’t allow me to take it with me while I tried on just one pair of jeans. She said she didn’t know what their rules were over there, so I just left instead. I was simply trying to make sure the jeans fit right before buying them, and I was treated like a thief—or at least that’s how they made me feel. Very disappointed. Very poor customer service, and possibly profiling people based on appearance, which is sad. I probably won’t be coming back to this Fred Meyer.

It is a Fred Meyers. Prices are ok, service is good, variety is immense and you can get almost anything if you don't mind the markup. This store is usually quite clean and thoroughly stocked. Don't expect more and you won't be disappointed.

Extra large Fred Meyer location that actually still contains an apparel department! Never really thought of Freddie’s as a clothing destination but I have made an emergency purchase of a swim suit there before. Anyway, they’ve got an automotive department and an adjacent key/lock shop. Truly one-stop shopping with attached strip mall and coffee shop.
