Wish I could do no stars. Do not use this company. Ever! If you sell the car and ask for your refund on the remaining balance they will put you on the wildest ride on getting documents. I went down that rabbit hole and 5 months into the process the customer service just hangs up. no refund, no so sorry, no thank you !

What a joke! This company offers a very expensive extended warranty. We tried to use it the first time six months into the warranty coverage. We carefully checked our paperwork to see that the problem was covered. We actually paid extra to cover almost everything – the highest coverage they had to offer. We took our RV in for two problems. One was that the TV antennae fell off while driving down the road. The other was a broken door latch. For the antennae, we stopped and picked up the piece that had fallen off and we took it with us on the date the service company had given us to do the repair. After traveling 200 miles to the service company, they tell us that the lock would not be covered because that repair would be less expensive than our deductible, and the antennae would not be covered because it was missing. We called the warranty company and explained that it was not missing and that we had actually stopped and picked it up and had it at the service company. They said they would need to review it. After being on hold for a few minutes they said the contract states that if anything is physically broken then it is not covered under the warranty. We were shocked! When is there ever a repair to be made that doesn’t involve something that is physically broken. At this point we realized every repair we would ever ask to be made would not be covered because something would be physically broken. Also this company will answer absolutely no questions until an acceptable repair shop looks at the problem, and then they just deny coverage. The bad part of that is that we have to drive 200 miles to spend 1-2 days just to be told it will not be covered. When we realized it was an absolute worthless warranty we asked for our money back. They said that was not their problem and we would have to go to the selling dealer. After multiple calls to the selling dealer (Holiday World) and ten days with no return calls (this is absolutely normal for Holiday World-once you have paid them your money they feel no responsibility to even talk to you again), we are still waiting to hear from Holiday World. You would have to be naïve or just plain stupid to do business with either one of these companies.

Takes at least 3 business days to get approval. Be prepared to be without a vehicle for at least a week. I have used my warranty about 5 times now between both my vehicles and not once have I received my vehicle back in the same week due to approval time. It is currently Monday afternoon and the dealership is still waiting for approval on the claim they placed Wednesday morning. We have called customer service 3 times (takes 30 min or more to connect with someone), left them voicemails, emails, and each time we get the same answer. "They are waiting on approval from the underwriters." We asked if there was a number to call but was informed there was no way to reach the underwriter. Lesson learned definitely going with another company on all future vehicles.

Absolutely horrific customer service. My family was on vacation at the beach when the air conditioner compressor went out on my truck. Took it straight to the local Chevy dealership for service. The dealership had the needed parts in stock and were confident they would have it fixed that same day. Instead, the warranty company dragged their feet for 48 hours while my claim was "under review" because my vehicle was "being serviced at a dealership other than the one it was purchased from." I asked them if they realized that people sometimes do travel more than a few miles away from their house, and the guy just told me to go get a rental car if I needed something to drive. I told him I would gladly do so if his company agreed to pay for the rental, which he quickly informed me that rentals are not a covered service. It took a total of 4 phone calls from me and another 3 from the dealership to ever get these people to do anything. I did not get my truck back until the evening before we had to leave to come home. This company is the worst! Do no waste your time or money on anything they have to offer!

I have been waiting since 12/28 for an answer on my warranty. Three calls three promised return calls or emails from a supervisor which I received none. This company is a joke!!! Just wanted to add that I did get a response from them. They denied the claim (even though everything in the claim was covered) Because I did not get prior approval. Really my claim would have been covered with prior approval, but since I did not get PERMISSION for the repairs you are not covering the claim. Be careful with this company. I have used Guardian in the past and they are great FYI.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. As a military member away on training, dealing with this company has been extremely frustrating. I have been out of a vehicle for 3 weeks. I bought an exclusionary warranty for around $3000. This is “supposed” to cover any items that are not considered routine maintenance. My truck is having fuel pump issues. However, my claim has been sitting in “under review” status for almost 3 weeks. Every time I have called customer service they tell me “oh, it usually doesn’t take this long it should be approved within 24-hours from now.” This still hasn’t happened. After repeatedly being told contradicting information by customer service reps I asked to speak to the manager or supervisor. I was then told they do not have time to speak to customers. Don’t bother with this. Judging by the other reviews posted it seems the business model is to take so long to approve a routine claim that the customer just gives up and pays for it themselves.

Purcahsed two ATVs. Was told I could cancel the warranty. The sales team made it sound like this was the factory warranty. After research it WASNT. I have been trying to cancel for 30 days. I've sent an email and call each business day. I sent the forms back signed with cancellation request on day three after finding the forms myself. After reading reviews I found out the First Extended doesn't cover ATV claims if they ATV was driven in an off-road enviornment or abused. Which they deny every claim from what I see here and on reddit. BE WARNED! Shady business practices.

After buying a warranty on our motorhome and paying thousands for the coverage, we had a safety issue. We called for preauthorization as our contract required. The customer representative told us to get it fixed (probably because it was a safety issue), then submit for reimbursement. We followed her instructions, submitted multiple pages of information, and then were denied. After further investigation, I was told by a representative it is up to the individual adjustor as to whether or no the claim is accepted or denied. Obviously, there is no consistency in making decisions if it is just at the whim of one person. What a disappointing experience. Do not use this company!

The dealer talked me into a extended warranty. The car was great for 5 years and did not need to use the extended warranty from First Extended Service Corporation. This week I had a problem with my car for the first time. I took back to the dealer I bought it from and said the transmission was bad. My car has been at the dealer all week. They called in a claim for it and keep calling back to check on it and being told its under review. I am very disappointed with First Extended Service Corporation. I keep getting calls to renew my policy with them. Why?

If you read this before using this company, do whatever you can to avoid them. My car has been in the shop for 4 weeks as of today, and not a single wrench has been turned to work on it due to just how terrible this company is. They operate on an “inbound call line” only which is one of the most absurd things I’ve ever been told. I gave them the number of who they needed to call to get my approval moving forward, and they couldn’t do it due to this ludicrous policy. In the future, I will likely just pay cash rather than going through my extended warranty with them because that is just how terrible they are. Which I’m getting the sense is exactly what they want people to do. If I could rate them zero stars, I would. Update: After EIGHT WEEKS of back and forth with the repair shop, work was finally able to be done on my car. However, I'm being told by my service provider that they have now changed the costs of labor from what they originally approved for so the repair shop hasn't even been paid. My service provider has told me it is one of the worst companies he has ever dealt with, and that's literally all he does every day. Also, I emailed the address that is given in the reply to this review. They told me they would have someone follow up with me to make sure I was taken care of. They didn't. Which was not a surprise to me, but don't let the apparent kindness of the response below fool you; they don't care. I will stress again, please avoid doing business with this company at all costs.
