The booking of loads, instructions for loading, and communication were smooth and easy. My driver had to wait from 10:30 PM to 5:30 AM to be loaded; however, as we all know, this is not the broker's fault, and it's beyond their control. We'll see if the broker will do right about the detention.
Professional people, all the information about the load was accurate and displaced in the RC and tracking app, decent rate.
DRIVER BEWARE!!!! I would give them zero stars but it won't let me. These guys lie to you from beginning to the end. They claim it's an open appointment it's them being late. You will sit on a dock for 10 to 24 hours waiting to get loaded. You can look at the load boards and see they have the same load posted from day to day and they constantly increase the price because they won't get anybody to cover it. Do not go to Lacrosse Wisconsin for them. It's a brewery and you will sit a minimum 10 hours and not get paid these guys are the worst!!!!!!
Working with Direct Connect Logistics has been one of the most disappointing carrier experiences I’ve ever had. They consistently lie about appointment times and rates just to secure a truck, then change the details last minute with zero transparency or accountability. Communication is extremely unprofessional — once they get the load covered, they go silent and refuse to address issues. Save yourself the frustration. There are plenty of honest logistics companies out there — Direct Connect Logistics is not one of them.
Don’t book any loads with this broker. We’ve booked a load with them a day before and got the rate confirmation from them. The next day when our driver has arrived at the shipper he has been told that someone else has already checked in for this same load. We have reached out to the broker and a representative has just told us they had cancelled that load via email. We’ve double checked all our emails and phones. Of course, there was no missed call or email even in the spam folder. It’s more than likely that these crooks have sold the load for cheaper and kept us as a backup. AVOID this broker and its loads especially if their rate seems too good to be true. Times are changing and driver shortage is coming back. We truck drivers need to boycott this kind of scammer brokers and do business with honest ones.
Overall outstanding service from initial contact to final delivery of a collector car for a very reasonable price Taylor, the Senior Account Executive that I worked with was extremely responsive and well informed. He arranged for my car to be delivered just 4 days after being contacted. The truck arrived at the dealership that I bought the car from (and who referred me to Direct Connect) as promised and then delivered the car to me (approximately 400 mile trip) the next day. The driver called me the night before and provided a 1/2 hour delivery window and showed up as promised. The car arrived in excellent shape and was quickly unloaded by a very courteous and helpful driver. Couldn't have had a better experience.
