Excellent customer service. Our carrier representative John Turcios was very helpful and communicative as well as the Driver Services Team. Thanks so much to everyone involved in, it was a smooth process from booking to delivery. Looking forward for a longer carrier-broker relationship.
We booked a load with Direct Connect Logistix, and everything seemed fine during the phone conversation when we were arranging the details. However, upon arrival at the delivery location, we discovered that the information provided to us over the phone and on the rate confirmation was incorrect. It was supposed to be an open delivery, but when the driver arrived, they were informed that it was by appointment. Additionally, the receiver stated that the delivery would occur in four days, not on the date listed in the rate confirmation. When we addressed this, Direct Connect blamed the customer, claiming the customer had provided them with incorrect information. This particular delivery was for the Gulf DC in McCalla, AL. The representative we dealt with, Sarah Phelps, was unprofessional throughout the process. When we requested detention for the nearly six hours spent at the delivery location, she simply responded with an email stating that the customer wouldn't pay them, so they couldn't pay us. This experience has shown me that Direct Connect is not a reliable partner for future loads. They clearly lack respect for both their customers who provide them with business and the carriers who are responsible for delivering their loads. Thank you for your time.

We had positive experience working with Andy L. Throughout the process, he demonstrated professionalism, clear communication and a solid understanding of the industry. Andy is responsive. If you're looking for a broker who is easy to work with, Andy is a great choice.
What you’re doing is really unfair. I could have left with your load at any moment. I had the right to do so, but I remained professional until the end and showed understanding. You are truly the worst broker I have ever worked with. I was in touch with your after hours team non-stop. You had me on tracking the entire time! What does your after hours team even do??? No one called me at any point. I have no comment. The reason they refuse to pay detention is that we didn’t send the BOL right after being unloaded. Check in 8:45am Check out 7:16pm
