Price of Regular was $2.75 yesterday 01/05/2024. All other gas stations in the neighborhood were ranging from $3.09 up to $3.29 per gallon. That’s a saving of 0.54c per gallon. It’s a good deal; every thing helps nowadays! You usually have 2 vehicles ahead of you which is not too bad.
Made an appointment on the phone Thursday in the tire department for Saturday 12:30 got there and were told rudely they had no appointment for me and would not help me, but you can come back tomorrow. Never again!!!! Lost my business, will not renew my membership!! I don’t need to drive so far to take abuse.
Called the BJ's on Atlantic but they couldn't fix my tire under warranty for 3 days. The BJ's on Phillips Hwy. helped me right away, despite being understaffed. Manager Rockie Z. is great. Very helpful, knowledgeable and personable. Good man.

I have been going to BJ'S for years but I had to write about a very pleasant experience with Ann S. She was my cashier and she was so pleasant and helpful. I have never had such a nice person before and I will look for her in the future when I shop at Bjs. She is wonderful!
Be very careful when shopping here. The prices are not much better than Walmart. If you have a coupon, you save between $1.00 - $6.00 on average, but many of the things you may want will not have a coupon. I was sorely disappointed. Also, the customer service was not the best. One woman that worked up front was very nice, but another, was rather rude and literally tossed a flyer at me when I asked for one, as if I was bothering her. We also bought some bulk yogurt but neglected to notice it expires in five days! Now who is going to eat 36 cups of yogurt in five days?! I will not be back.
We have been a member for years but and it's a big but they seem to not be at the same level as Costco. First the good. Gas station by and large a few ¢ less than surrounding stations BUT for the past few months the air hose station has been out of service...going to the tire center gets you no help as the guy just tells you where the hose is. Inside is ok but very few if any sample stations. Deli is very good with a nice selection as is the bakery and produce area. Some sale items are no big deal so if you go comparison shop before you buy. Biggest negative is checking out...sooooo very very slow vs Costco. Last hill to climb is leaving the store. Only 1 checkout person and at times the line is long...long...long to leave the store.
This location needs employees or if they are staffed properly it’s hard to find help when your looking for something. Front des and deli have staff , However if you need to find something you have to try to get a cashiers around self checkout to help. Add associates or hold management accountable,
Mostly I hate people asking for membership card and insisting before pulling out of the wallet. Costco and same club also ask but they wait until you show. And they don’t ask some people entering before after us.. is it a treatment for foreigners? Many products are out of stock for weeks and have to buy expensive products. Footwear is one place I still wonder what sizes they keep on the racks. Clothes also only available xs or XXL. Brainless people seems to re order or suppliers just dump and nobody cares. Tire center is another place where we have to wait for long time and no one attends. If we say hello, they ask to wait. Employees are not bad but not proactive. Some old employees used to ask if need any help but now we have to find and ask for help. Some of the items are expensive in BJ’s than stores like Rowes. Don’t want to tell anything about gas station. It’s a mess most of the times.
Breakfast blueberry muffins, and a roasted chicken 4.99. Such a deal!!
