Selection is fine but prices are some of the highest in the city and if you need to wait in the cashier line instead of self checkout good luck cause you'll be waiting a millennium. Seems severely understaffed, or else staff just ignore you, idk.
What is the point of selling grab and go deli meats and cheeses packaged in resealable bags if you’re going to tape the bags shut in such a way that they are impossible to open without tearing the bag? The resealable bag is rendered useless once the bag is torn, stop taping bags shut in such a manner that it renders them impossible to be opened without tearing the bag!!
Kiana has to have won Acme's most LAZY employee AWARD. At the Self Check-out last tonight my Kiosk kept blinking, in which I asked Kiana who was standing in front of Customer Service scratching her head while on the clock. When I asked her for help she told me to ask the girl near to me, who at the time was assisting a customer (another employee) for help instead. SERIOUSLY!! I had to wait 5 whole minutes until the other employee was done assisting when Kiana could of took two steps to help me. Instead I looked over and see her scratching her head standing around looking bored & lost!! While being on company time! This is UNACCEPTABLE!! She needs to Actually work if she wants to get paid!!!
Worst store. Nobody to help you. Never can find a manager when looking for anything. Today nobody can help with anything
The produce always has mold on it, and everything is unreasonably priced too. 1/26 update. Today there were no carts or baskets. At this supermarket. When I asked an attendant where I could find any extra ones I was told, if there are no baskets there are no baskets. This is the North Korea of supermarkets, if North Korea was known for being nasty in attitude in addition to being decrepit and barren.
The service was amazingly slow. It took 45 minutes to buy one item.
Was one of my Favorite Locations to get Groceries. I would stop an taken picture of the nice buildings from the parking lot. Things have changed. Acme took over and it looks nice in there but everybody seem to limit their amount of shopping load. The prices were not reasonable. And I had to pay $4 for parking after putting in my parking voucher.. No Sir! I grew up in the 80s shopping at Acme. I could walk home carrying groceries that would feed a house of 7. Econo Line brand.. I quickly went back to Aldis for savings even though Acme had the esthetics on another level.. My $50 went far up the road. Acme.. please change.. I get it.. Supply and demand at that location but your hurting the brand when people don't have to put up with prices. Almond milk is $1.79 at Aldis.. itnwas like double at your store. I write this out of concern.
I love this acme at 40th in walnut I come here a lot during the week I love and appreciate u guys keep the store fully stocked here it's full of item and prices is pretty reasonable for customers I love and appreciate the employees here and security they keep the self checkout moving smoothly and the store is very safe wth the security here and I think the manager here wth the gold braids she's super cute I recommend this place for anyone who loves supermarkets. William from Philadelphia
Good, but limited selection due to its size. Too much space is given to alcohol (but it is next to a college). Very tight aisles, but customers tend to be courteous in the tight spaces. Lines can be quite long, and some of the staff are quite rude. I use it for convenience, but generally, I choose larger store
All the employees were extremely friendly and helpful. The store was in pretty good condition. The only drawback was that choices are a little limited.
