Reliable Acme store on Passyunk Ave and 11th street. LARGE parking lot that always has available parking near the front of the store. Wide selection of groceries, along with Beer and Wine. Store is usually well stocked. Service is friendly and quick. Can be slightly crowded on evenings in the beginning of the work week, but other than that it is always a quick in and out. Prices are above average for grocery stores but they do have good deals most times on certain items.

Visiting here from NE Philly today since i was close to center city after my job shift- Its quite a wonderful Acme! I love the bakery/florals/produce area :) very neatly organized and well stocked. I was happy to see Squishmallows & the peeps pillow. Was great. 9/10 would recommend to a friend 👍🐣🌸 #February2025 #southphilly🎒

Great selection, clean, kind and helpful staff. Clemencia, my usual cashier, has lovely customer service and is always friendly. Last time I was there, an employee even helped me load my groceries into my ride. Best Acme in the city!

More bike parking please! The current "wheel bender" style bike rack gets full and doesn't accommodate most bikes very well. Some staple racks would be greatly appreciated

This particular Acme 1400 Passyunk Ave is one of favorite markets in the city. They have a Phenomenal store director named Lance who exemplifies and in my opinion exceeds Customer Satisfaction. I've watched this gentleman keep a professional, calm demeanor with unruly and disrespectful customers. I've Also witness him take the time to talk with Customers to see if they've found everything they needed or ask if it was anything he could help them with!! This type of genuine concern fosters a welcoming environment for customers and employees!! Rocco in Customer Service and Micheal in the Seafood department are also two gems.

4 years in this neighborhood and this store has gone SO DOWNHILL. What is going on with this store?? The employees never say hello, never smile, don't engage with customers, loudly talk about personal stuff, and are downright RUDE. As someone who works in customer service...I am seriously so appalled at the way these employees treat their customers!!! Like are we bothering you having your personal conversations at the check out?? It sure seems that way as they totally ignore guests while shouting to each other across isles about which coworker they were flirting with?? True story. Literally no one says hello with a smile. Ever. The woman that checked me out today, Darnella, was so RUDE!!! My goodness like I truly don't understand. After ringing things up she refused to put the items on the belt to send them down to the end. I asked her "would you mind putting them on that thing so I can bag them?" she told me to move around and stand closer, not at the bottom where the bagging area is. I had a big order, why would I do that?? It was a very small space and things were piling up already. You can't put the items literally A HALF INCH farther down??? She was putting them right on the edge of the belt lol like why??! So then she starts THROWING my large drinks down and crushing everything I was trying to bag. Then she TOSSED the card I bought at me. I let customer service know about her awful attitude but I bet they won't do anything though. Ugh this place is the worst. Whoever is running this place should be embarrassed. Train your employees!!! They are killing your store. I'll drive to ShopRite from now on.

This is an ok Acme, it has greatly improved over the last couple of years. I would give it more stars if it improved it's meat section a little. The steak cuts are always on the thinner side and rough cut. However, it's seafood section is actually really great.

I live in the neighborhood and it's great to have a full service grocery store so close to home. But it's expensive - and I think their meats and veggies should be fresher for what you pay for. They have made a lot of improvements recently, though, so I hope it continues to get better. Staff has always been very friendly and helpful.

The prices here are insanely high and the produce section is deeply suspect. Check out these moldy onions I saw the other week. There's no reason to shop here unless you live in walking distance, and even then you should expect to take out a mortgage when you get to the always-crowded self checkouts (which print a receipt longer than the constitution).
