Lori at the front desk was extremely rude. I had an issue with items out of date and she stated, “you should have looked at the dates before you bought them ”. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service from this employee. This was not ok.
0 stars. They like to have people's cars towed for no reason. Also, stores a mess and food is always expired, nothing is stocked.
Their produce selection is pretty sad. They sold me a pot pie that was past the sell by date. I should have checked, but I didn’t think they would sell something that had been sitting out for a week. Check all expiration dates if you shop here!
I love the Acme and South Philly .The cashier too k the time out to walk me through the Acme app.My only problem was buying the lunch meat pre sliced .It wasn't any good .
Today, I was just at this ACME store in 10th and Reed St the one across1400 Passyunk Ave. buying 3 cases of Poland Spring water. This cashier name JALEESA was very rude to me. She put her hands on the side of her hips and orders me to use the self service check out. She was not busy and I was her only customer at that time on her section. I have a choice to either go to her a cashier service or to a self service. Why did ACME hire a rude and lazy person like her ? She’s a bully cashier to telling to go to the self service while she’s not doing anything. Is she now the new face of ACME?
Do not order online, they gave us molded strawberries, put all produce and meat in the SAME bags and packed the bags so much that they broke and fell on my way into my house. Last time I did an order they put two cartons of eggs at the bottom of the bag with cans and tons of other heavy things on top. This is all basic common sense with bagging groceries.
I know not the face of Death, but the produce section of the Passyunk Avenue Acme has lent me an impression of his cruel visage.
They always seem to be out of what I'm there to get, but they're cool about the parking lot.
Bike parking is a joke. They recently spent $30,000 repaving a brand new parking lot with EV chargers. But if you bike you get this $89 wheel bender rack that's too close to the wall and doesn't accommodate most bikes that one would carry groceries in. If this photo shows how most people have decided to utilize the bike rack, then there is something wrong with the bike rack you've provided. Install several staple racks please.
It’s a JOKE!! gets worse every time.. more and more empty shelves. ON A TUESDAY MORNING @ 10am.. nasty, cocky deli counter women.. the one that yells “IM TAKING MY BREAK!! To avoid waiting on certain people.. and the unprofessional, rude manager who is just as bad as she is.. and makes you feel just as unwelcome and uncomfortable.. I can only hope and pray this acme gets bought out by a GIANT..TRADER JOES.. whomever!!! Nicer companies who aren’t afraid to spend money.. who ensure that shopping experiences are satisfactory.. not disgraceful.. with aisles and aisles of empty shelves!! . and the staff who are RUDE!! And get away with it!! Do better ACME, or make way for another competitor who most likely will.. You don’t deserve to be in that location!!
