Of all the grocery stores out there, this is one of them. Honestly the staff and quality of the store are fine, sometimes stock can be iffy and it’s not the nicest but it gets the job done. But Acme’s prices are ridiculous and it’s unfortunate this is the only large store walking distance in this neighborhood.

Now this Acme is much better than the one on 40th and Walnut. As soon as you walk in you smell baked good that will have your mouth watering 🤤

Prices are astronomical, the produce section is always empty and the meat dept doesn’t have good variety. They charge for paper bags now too, even though plastic bags before the ban cost them just as much.

I ordered a simple birthday cake from here with some flowers and writing, nothing fancy. I picked it up and it looked like a 10 year old decorated it, the writing was so sloppy I couldn't believe it, the flowers were like melting which is weird to me cuz she brought it out from the refrigerator and for some unknown reason they put like crumbs or something all around the bottom of my cake which was supposed to just have a simple purple border. I will never get a cake from there again, it was very disappointing.

Consistently picked over and the sale items (specifically meats) are rarely in stock. The only full grocery store within walking distance, so it's all we have...

Confusing! This was our first visit to this store location/chain. It took us several minutes to understand the layout of the store. But, the big surprise came in the checkout line. There was nothing posted informing customers that you must either bring your own bag (BYOB) or purchase paper or plastic bags from the store. I had to ask the cashier 3x what the costs of the bags were. She kept saying, "How many bags do you need?" What??? I felt rushed, embarrassed and confused, as I held the line up, while I guessed how many bags I needed and my daughter hurried to bag the groceries. ???? Some signs posted with information about the checkout process would have been helpful.

Great beer selection! I'm happy to see this Acme has upgrade this location - it was a long time coming. The customer service does need work. I would recommend providing more incentives. Another thing, I've seen the turnover of new employees - alway like building a relationship with the locals.

I've never had a bad experience here. However, over the many years I've shopped at this location they have never figured out the correct amount of cashiers to have at once. When there's nobody there, all lanes are open. When it's packed, for some reason they close multiple lanes.. just a fact of life. I will continue to shop here despite the prices and inconveniences because it is a nice location overall and I've never had any issues with staff or inventory.

I was in this store looking for chopped onions. Didn't see any in the produce aisle. I asked an employee named Tara if there were any. She said no but she could make me some. I didn't think she would but she did. She went above and beyond to help me on Monday. Very thankful for employees like this who are willing to help a customer. Customer Service 100%.Thanks Tara @acme.
