The Capital Grille

Every time we come here we are blown away. Our first time was the night before our wedding at the Fairmont, and our second was for our one year anniversary. The team at Capital Grille always go out of their way to make it special for us, and that really touches our hearts. We will forever come back here each year on our anniversary! Thank you for setting the bar so high!

Excellent food - the filet mignon was delicious, service was 10/10, the atmosphere was perfect for a special occasion. This was a perfect restaurant to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary - I would recommend requesting a booth for more privacy for special occasions.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle! Our waiter Arne was very knowledgeable about the wines. The caviar, oysters, shrimp, and steak is all top notch! Even the crème brûlée with coffee is a must have! Perfect place for an anniversary, or any special occasion.

We had a party of 9, celebrating a recently retured family friend. The service was stellar, menu offerings were varied enough for everyone. But we were all really, truly surprised there were no gluten-free options for the bread. Half of our party is gluten-free, and not by a whim or simple choice. Its an issue of their health. This isn't an extremely rare thing; Capital Grille needs to do better. While half the party enjoyed the lovely bread before diner, the other half watched. 😐

I brought my girlfriend here for our 1 year anniversary and we had such an amazing time. The food and atmosphere where amazing. Even the bread and butter where delicious. We had a crab cake, steak and some scallops and side dishes. Everything was incredible. What really took it over the top was the service. By far the most Incredible service we have ever received at a restaurant by miles. Incredibly excited to come back and try something new.

Delicious dinner, great service, I'd give them six stars if I could. Thanks for a fabulous evening. I recommend the mocktail passion fruit mojito and the creme brulee cheesecake. We have been talking about this cheesecake since we had it for the first and last time 2.5 years ago and it lived up to our memories- definitely save room!

I stopped into The Capital Grille Seattle for a solo dinner before a Seattle Symphony show and had a great experience overall. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming from the moment I arrived, and the hostess greeted me warmly. My steak was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and exactly what I hoped for. The sides were excellent and paired beautifully with the meal. Rebecca, my server, was attentive, friendly, and made the evening feel relaxed and enjoyable. I’m giving four stars instead of five for a couple of small details. I noticed other guests being offered warm towels before their meal, but I wasn’t, which made the service feel slightly inconsistent. I also had to ask for a steak knife to cut into my very thick steak — not a big issue, but something I wouldn’t expect to request at a place known for its steaks. Still, the food was delicious, the service was kind, and the overall experience was very positive. I’d happily return before another night at the symphony.

Thank you to the entire team at The Capital Grille for treating my new husband and I, and all of our guests, as royalty as we celebrated our wedding reception with you! We could not have asked for a more special night. From the moment we walked through the door, to every single delectable morsel we were served, to the personal touches from the staff and management - wow!!! Thank you. 10/10 highly recommend for any celebration with the option for a private space gorgeously decorated and personalized touch in every detail!

Wow. The food was excellent. We started with the seafood tower and everything was fresh and cold and perfect. Our entrées were also fantastic. But really, it was our server who made this entire experience wonderful for us. His name is Matthew. He was friendly and prompt and went above and beyond what you usually expect from a server. We specifically asked if he knew who the portrait of the lady near the front of the restaurant was, and not only did he know, he gave us a wonderful history lesson! He knew everything there was to know about every thing we ordered. He helped us make drink choices as well as food choices. I would 100% go back to this restaurant.

Visited The Capital Grille recently. Service was decent overall staff was attentive and professional but the food was honestly pretty average and didn’t really stand out for the price. The atmosphere still has that classic upscale steakhouse vibe, though, so it’s a nice spot for business dinners or catching up with friends.
