This 1 star review is focused on the Cafe part for this Sam’s Club. Shetia is mainly to blame on how it’s ran. We wanted to order multiple large pizzas for our party, and she threw a fit about how we weren’t suppose to order that more than 5. After we convinced the cashier to take our order, Shetia ran over to her tablet to ‘turn off’ the ability for customers to order anymore large pizzas on the scan & go app. This allows future customers to not be able to order unless they turn it back on, and they never do. I’ve been to the club multiple times and it’s always listed as ‘sold out’ on the large pizza option. Once they turn it off, they won’t turn it back on, because it allows them to not work as much. While waiting for our order Shetia also told the customers waiting in the line “No more large pizza orders”, since you have to wait in line to ask for a large pizza since it’s listed as ‘sold out’ on the app. Multiple people got upset that they couldn’t order a large pizza. Not sure why Sams Club puts such power to the employee to have them able to decide how much they’re going to work that day.
Be careful on purchasing Sams caesar salad. I purchased it today, with a sale by date of May, ninth, today is the sixth. It was packaged on the 5th. It took me 15 minutes to pick out all the Brown pieces of lettuce. Whoever package this should have known. The lettuce was old.
Never had a bad experience here for over 3 years now, outstanding overall and most employees are friendly and professional. It’s also in a convenient location on the North Side.
A quick stop off of I95, aside from that it is a regular old Sam's club with gas.
I ordered a Samsung microwave around the first week of January. Was told it would be delivered in 3-5 business days. Called after the 10th. Was told they hadn’t requested it be delivered. After calling and calling with no updates and almost a month later I get a call from the logistics team that it’ll be delivered tomorrow. I will never buy an appliance from Sam’s again. Buyers beware.
This particular location does not order or prepare in advance of the seasons or holidays. They will be sold out days in advance or just never have the items in the first place. This is a regular occurrence, not just a 1 off. Not sure who manages this place, but they do a horrible job.
This deli is probably the most poorly run in Jacksonville. If I dare come in the evening, there's almost always ONLY 2 people working behind the counter. I don't understand why management doesn't step in on occasion to help the line move faster.
