I shop at this store regularly as a “Just 4 You” registered shopper for 20+ years living across the U.S. I’ve had positive and negative experiences at this store. The biggest issues have been created by interactions with the customer service desk over price and product quality in which I’ve been forced to accept my time, my word, and my documentation over concerns were not valid and required an inordinate amount of additional time, repeating already shared information, and refusing to capitulate to receive a resolution that was already promised to me by phone. My time is worth money and the amount of time required at this store to address their failings not acceptable! Update: Spent 20 minutes trying to follow the generic instructions below which didn't work with 3 efforts. Manager, please lookup my account on file by my name and call me as my number is on file with my name!

Had to almost walk over the homeless to go in… there is an entire center section of the store that you have to check out with the one cashier checking out entire carts of things instead of just the items are most often stolen I’m assuming if they have literally corralled half of the store. There was more security for keeping some folk out than Safeway employees working.

I love shopping here the employees and security people are all really nice and super helpful. They dont mind that i sell my handmade bracelets on the corner by the entrance either if anyone reading this happens to be in the area please come shop here at this safeway for a good customer experience and don't forget to pick up a bracelet are two from me if you see me there making bracelets i gof a nice assortment and also make orders upon request too 1 braclet for 10$ are u can buy 3 for 25$ and just started necklaces don't have that many made ups but when I get that going they are gonna be 20$ a necklaces 😇

Even though they are expensive, they are open. They too have stayed open and weatherd the storm, the man made storm, the one that makes it OK to shoplift. When most stores of the kind have packet up and left town or whatever, wherever. So to all the Safeways and to all the soldiers that keep it open and feeding the public, Great job!!! And a huge amount of gratitude from myself and the 100s or 1000s of people I know feel similar . Thank you Xs 10!!!!

Typical grocery store. There is a weird part where if you are buying something from the section you have to check out before leaving the section so I did have to wait in a line for a $2 pack of flushable wipes??? The store is pretty clean and has decent deals. There was a man having a mental breakdown outside of the store and the security person was very calm and got the right people to respond to the situation so good for not escalating the situation.

"we take your comments seriously" Yeah right than fix the problem,Constant shoplifting in the back corner by the bakery .If you go in the back where the service elevator is and the bakery area you can just watch all the kids stealing food putting it in their jackets all day long, there is never any security back in that corner.. it's almost an unwritten rule by Safeway that" yeahyou can go back there and steal whatever you want" a free economic zone in the store. I've been going in there every day for years and this is a ongoing perpetual issue that only the paying customer seems to care about

The employees are very welcoming and polite. To many homeless people around the building begging for food, it could make some people not want to shop there. Overall, it is always a pleasant place to shop.

Couldnt use the bathroom with out a receipt. I still had my bags in hand and didn't get receipt from the checker. They wouldn't even look at my banking app. That verified my purchase was like 15 minutes prior. Security actually got in my personal space and raised his voice.

Our neighborhood Safeway has friendly staff, good variety, good produce, and clean and safe store. Tons of security keeping an eye on things. They’ll ask you to leave big bags and backpacks at the entrance. Outside gets crusty after 8/9 but still safe, mostly… I commend the staff for what they go through while keeping the store in good shape for us. Support our grocery store! It’s not their fault the neighborhood is a mess

The woman behind customer service is very rude and racist. Her name is Nora. She is white and has black hair. I went to return an item and she started making racial slurs against my me and then threatened to call ICE on me. I didn’t even get my return receipt. What is Safeway even doing?
