I have had the pleasure of doing business with Safeway Medical Supply on two occasions and multiple phone calls. First I purchased an electric wheelchair and then I got a motorized recliner. The staff treated me with great respect and helped me get the things I needed quickly always answering my questions. I want to thank Elizabeth for her help in getting my insurance authorized and suggesting carriers for my truck for the wheelchair. I want to thank Preston for delivering the wheelchair, explaining how it worked and for being a very friendly customer oriented delivery man. He also delivered my recliner by himself which he did with great ease and would be a difficult feat for 2 men. Thank you Daniel for helping me find a recliner and offering me such a great deal. You definitely know your recliners. A shout out to Lubna and Kate for being g friendly, customer oriented and always being helpful. Each member of this team was always friendly, knowledgeable, and customer oriented. I highly recommend Safeway Medical Supply. Give them a call. You will be glad you did.

Daniel has been so diligent in helping me with my refund for my mother’s wheelchair. It was so stressful and he took my calls and worked tirelessly with me for months to get things worked out. Thank you Daniel for helping me you are a gem.😊

The store is very nice, and there are some great scooter options to choose from. I was greeted and helped by a young intelligent man, he helped me get what I needed for my mom. ****UPDATED REVIEW**** February 10, 2026 I received a call from Vern on Sunday February 1st. He was very apologetic about the situation. He explained how Daniel dropped the ball in this situation and that he would be dealing with that on his end. Vern said that in light of what took place, he would have someone bring the chair I was interested in (as well as a couple others) to my house for me to test out. He sent Preston to my house and Preston was INCREDIBLE. He was very personable, professional, well versed on the product and answered a TON of questions. The one or 2 things he didn't have an answer for he immediately got answers for. When I decided on the product I wanted they were more than fair on pricing giving me a discount for my time and effort that had been for naught. Vern's concerns seemed sincere. I truly believe he cared about the negative experience i had initially and went out of his way to make it right. He has followed up a few times to make sure I was happy. His attempts to connect immediately and his sincerity is why I also purchased a bunch of accessories. His responsiveness kept a customer that could have been lost. I know one person would not break a company but he treated me like I was a valuable, important, necessary customer. Issues CAN happen and WILL happen with every/any company, no matter how good they are. The difference between a good company and a mediocre company is the way they handle those problems. Vern handled this issue quickly and efficiently. I will not hesitate to buy other mobility products and accessories from them in the future. Now I will wait for all the accessories to be drop shipped to my house and will come back here and update further. --original review for context-- January 20, 2026 I contacted Safeway about a portable electric wheelchair called Travel Buggy City 2 Plus. I spoke at length to someone named Daniel. We made an arrangement to meet at the store on Saturday @ 11am. He said he would be there from 11-2. I have a difficult time getting out of my house due to my disabilities. It takes quite a bit of effort and it leaves myself and my wife drained. Daniel never showed up. NO ONE showed up. I went through all of this for nothing.

My mother was in town for a few weeks. She is wheelchair bound, and it was time for a new chair. She got just what she needed, in fact more than what she needed. I was, helped with picking out a great model, and treated with the best service ever. I will be recommending to my peers and family. I found the lightest weight wheelchair ever and we ate extremely happy. Thanks Daniel and Safeway!

Been trying to get a walker for almost 3 weeks!!! Have never once got a phone call. I have called several times and nothing. Do not recommend.

I have not dealt much with Safeway, it’s mainly been with my insurance but the little I have dealt with them, it was great customer service. From Elizabeth handling my payment down to Joseph the delivery guy. When I did not call Elizabeth back in the 30 mins I said I would she called me back within the hour and it was actually right on time for what I asked her to wait on me on. Joseph was on another level too. He was real respectful of my property and myself and conducted himself in a real professional way. He took the time to explain to me everything about my chair and when I say everything I mean everything. I did not feel rushed while asking questions about my scooter nor was I made feel stupid for the questions I was asking. I really enjoyed Joseph’s help and communication. Thank you Safeway for making this easy on me. I will be recommending you to others. Hope you guys take care of Elizabeth and Joseph as they are a great representation of your company.

I called and asked how the process worked. They were very patient with all my questions. I was instructed on what I needed to do and what they would handle. The process went exactly as they had told me. I called several times to check on things and they were always friendly and helpful. I now have my scooter and the man who delivered and explained everything about the scooter was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recomment Safeway Medical Supply. Thank ya'll
