I would like to say that this company has a guy Byron that is quite pleasant and knowledgeable regarding the bed that my mom needed. He eased mine and my sister mind . We knew that our mother would rest well. Thanks you Safeway sending a large gentle giant. Lol

Ms Kate & Daniel provided my husband the concern, care & best attitude of listening , processing of the wheel chair request from doctor’s order , documentation up to delivery . They are dedicated & reliable to patients needs. We are thankful & grateful to Ms Kate , Daniel , Mark & Safeway Medical supplies .

Terrible service. My sister has been calling for the last two weeks to order a wheel chair for surgery in 2 days. This last call she was told, she isn't the kind of customer they want and they told her to find another dme company. They also won't answer calls from her insurance company to get the order expedited. Really getting the run around. Responding: unprofessional, unethical. HIPPAA violations.

Normally I don’t give 5* reviews but after experiencing the other Medical Supply businesses customer service, I would give 10* if I could. My issues are a lot to deal with and no one else wanted to help. If anyone reading these reviews wants to know an honest and fair opinion I’ll say this.... I thought I knew what was available for me with my coverage but with the extra leg work they did I found out there were other options I had to choose from and am so happy because I feel so much better now.

Texted Vern and received a prompt response and got set up in less than two days. The staff is awesome, attentive and considerate. Glad to have my mom home again. They care.

Very disappointed in my treatment as a customer in need. I don't remember ever receiving a return phone call. And there was many of them. So bad that I thought I was being screened. I feel like I had legitimate questions. I had been working with my salesperson for 2 months and still could not get what I need. I am so frustrated and depressed that I don't even feel like working with my salesperson any more.when I confronted him about not returning my calls he said we're busy. For over a week or more? MY LORD. That sounds like a logistical problem. I have been put on hold and waited up to half an hour and left messages with no return . Very disappointed. Dennis Cooney In response to your reply. Do not use this place! They lie lie & lie! Unfortunately this place was an option on my medical insurance for a breast pump … I called to place an order and they stated they would ship it to me for an extra fee! Which was very high! So I know that wasn’t the price they paid for shipping! They stated I should receive it in two days! Mind you they didn’t provide ANY tracking information or anything like they said they would via email! Two days came and went and never received it! I called to follow up and they said that they’re unsure of what happened and didn’t understand why the lady who took my information over the phone didn’t send my tracking information.. she took my number down and said she would call me back and NEVER DID! So I followed up AGAIN the next day and they stated someone was going to personally drop it off between 12:30-1:30! NO ONE. EVER CAME, go figure! So I called them back furious and they LIED AGAIN saying that their vehicle wasn’t working but they reshipped another! At this point I don’t even want their breast pump, and I’m calling my insurance company and letting them know how unethical this business is and to remove them because their liars and steal! So please don’t order anything from them because you won’t get it!

After first submitting my prescription to Aerocare and then messing around with it for 2 weeks and asking for more and more information from my dr., they cancelled my order at the last minute. So at the last minute my dr. called Safeway. Vern processed my prescription, knew my insurance coverage, took my co-pay over the phone, and put my wheelchair together in less than hour and half and all over the phone. They would have delivered but because it was last minute before my surgery, I went to pick it up. Janelle loaded it into the care for me. Teresa had waited on me the previous week when I visited the store and also did a fantastic job. I highly recommend Safeway Medical in Houston. Great customer service.

My mother has been very ill and unable to get in and out of bed without assistance. Sadly, on several occasions, she wet her bed, because she could not get up on her own. Since we were unable to give her 24/7 care, our family decided that the best option would be an electronic hospital bed. The insurance company gave us a list of equipment suppliers and I called Safeway. I was pleasantly greeted by Lubna (spelling?) and Vern, who clearly explained my options and associated costs. They immediately faxed the request to my mother's doctor to get the ball rolling. Once her doctor finally faxed back the form, Theresa helped expedite the insurance approval and coordinated the delivery of the bed the very next day! Anytime I called into Safeway, whether I spoke to Lubna, Vern, Maureen, Ed, or Theresa, I was absolutely blown away by the kindness that I was treated with. While I was overwhelmed with my mother's deteriorating health, they took on the burden of diligently managing the paperwork. They treated my mother's needs with urgency and personal care. I felt like she was a top priority. You just don't find this kind of extraordinary service at most retail stores these days. I am beyond grateful that I had the blessing of working with the incredible folks at Safeway. They were instrumental in providing the relief and assistance that my mother so desperately needed. Thank you!
