Atrocious timelines, customer service is beyond bad. The only advantage is convenient ordering when there is a Manheim win and that's not worth it anymore. They are on the unprofessional/unethical track of underquoting shipping and then not getting anyone to take the load and getting you to either pay more, wait forever, or cancel - while incurring storage fees by the auction. Tried them one last time...done. Get your stuff together, Cox, before an antitrust or class action suit does it for you.
They wrecked my car, and the insurance still hasn’t covered the damage after it was totaled. When I asked the driver for the reason, he said the broker hadn’t paid him for a long time. I’ve been in a lawsuit with them for six months now, but with no results—their contract is very cleverly written.
I have never given a negative review for any company but they truely deserve it. Its been nearly 22 days to get a car picked up and delivered from MD to NJ and still nothing. I would never ever even consider using them again. My window of arbitration is shot. I dont understand how Manheim recommends them for transport. stay away.
By far the worst transportation company in the industry. They take payment and book transport though Manheim auctions and then fail to follow through. They have vehicles they have not delivered in over 35 days and have them in a storage destination they will not share will not release them. They have the worst customer service. It doesn't matter the size of your dealer group, they are equally pathetic in how they respond. You're better off to not buy cars if you have to use ready logistics to transport them. Its a growing pattern of poor service and a lack of consideration for dealership assets.
Absolutely miserable experience. Called to get an update and they told me my vehicle would be picked up on a Thursday and I could see it as soon as Saturday. Called Saturday to check the status and they told me the carrier didn't pick it up for "personal" reasons. They said they were working "very hard" to find a replacement carrier. Called Monday and they asked me to sign up for their text message update system. So I did. The text message system said my vehicle would be picked up last Thursday and delivered on time. Obviously nobody monitors this system or updates it. Don't waste your time with this clown show.
Ready logistics has no communication with its customers. Shipped a vehicle from my dealership to a customer in Alabama. Had to call and get updates daily when the vehicle would be picked up. They keep changing dates on me. Can’t understand the regular customer service and I had to get transferred to a manager who I assume is US based. Finally gets delivered to the customer who informs me the keys are nowhere to be found. I made sure to put the customer’s contact information on the envelope so the driver could communicate with the customer with any important information like where the keys were. Had to call in again and speak with another manager who also has no idea what’s going on. Working at a very large dealership we often have customers outside of VA that wants vehicles delivered and our dealership will never use them again.
Sorry to hear about some of the low praise results below. They make me wonder if they aren't competitor reviews. Moving on let's discuss my experience which was nothing but fantastic. Car moved 2,200 miles in three days. Picked up from dealer on Friday 12/9 and delivered 12/11 now you can't ask for better than that anywhere. The transit company assigned was first rate, new equipment that was spotless, and the vehicle barely had dust on it. No scratches, no dings, no damage what so ever and no weird mileage issues. This is what you get when you transit your vehicle with a reputable company. Cost was better than expected and the communication from Ready Logistics was direct and complete. I've contracted out hundreds of vehicle relocation jobs and this was by far the best, fastest, and most reasonable company to deal with. Don't bother reading the below comments they don't do justice to the service this company provides. Since they are part of Cox Automotive you'd have to look really hard to find anyone with better credentials, and believe me I've looked.
I can't believe Manheim forces you to uses this company (if you still want to be able to arbitrate a vehicle if delayed in transportation). They are beyond terrible. Bought a vehicle in Atlanta. We are located in Pensacola. 5hrs away. I have 14 day inspection / arbitration. Vehicle delivered almost a month later. 27days. They tell you anything they think you want to hear to buy them more time. Half the time when they place you on hold they hang-up on you. If you want a true uphill battle and weeks of agony....hire them. If not.....run away.
The only reason they get a one star review is because I can't give ZERO stars. I've used them twice. Once from Atlanta to SC less than 200 miles and it took them 16 days to get my vehicle delivered. Now I have been waiting 13 days on a vehicle to be delivered from NC less than 300 miles and It will be day 16 if they make this delivery window. Ridicculous! They us the same network of drivers that others use but pocket a large broker fee while giving the drivers a much smaller hauling fee. What does that meaan for the shipper? It means you have to sit and wait on someone needing a load in the future coming your direction. That shipper can make something on their way to pick up something else. I have used them because Manheim (their sister) company enocurages you to use them, when buying at their auctions. Never again...this is a shame on me for touching the stove twice and not learning like a normal person would the first time. I called them before I used them the second time to make sure this would not happen, I was assured it would not....Guess what? It did. Shipper be ware, a terrible company to deal with. I'm sure they get bombarded and spend hours on the phone fielding these calls, because every time they tell you, I can go on line and chect the status using MYSC. One can do that to get the news you already know, they are going to be super slow and the squeaky wheel gets no grease. It is what it is. Time is not thier money, it is your money....so don't waste it.
absolute nightmare to deal with. took nearly 2 weeks to get vehicle picked up. my hours are m-f from 8 am to 5 pm. these guys delivered it 1030 pm on a friday and they wanted to leave a 50K car on the street with keys in it. just absolute clowns to deal with.
