They have good clothes and a fair price. I walked out with what it looked like a new u sweater yes it's summer but I love my sweaters for when winter comes. My daughter got some things we both walked out happy
Employees are super nice always. Low selection of clothing. Always same thing for awhile now I feel like I’ve seen the same pants there for a year now whenever I go to look for new stuff.
The staff at Plato’s Closet is always great, but Brandy went above and beyond! She was super friendly, patient, and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Excellent customer service
Awesome atmosphere, great service, brandy was very helpful with showing me new items and being very attentive during my time in the store ! Recommend this location for unique styles and features that are great for the season.
Disappointing Experience at Plato's Closet I've been a repeat customer at Plato's Closet, having visited about half a dozen times to sell clothes. However, my most recent experience left me disheartened and reconsidering future visits. While I've come to expect a certain level of indifference from the staff, this visit crossed a line. Upon returning to collect my unsold items, I was shocked to find my carefully prepared clothes haphazardly tossed back into the bin I had brought them in, as if it were a dirty laundry hamper. When I inquired about this treatment, I was dismissively told they were "more focused on younger trendy styles." This statement not only felt unprofessional but also inaccurate, considering my collection included popular brands like Express and 7 For All Mankind, as well as handmade pieces purchased in Italy – items representing both a significant investment and sentimental value. The decision to part with these clothes was already difficult for me. Some of these items were very dear to me, carrying memories and emotional significance. To see them treated with such disrespect was truly disheartening. The cavalier handling of customers' belongings and the dismissive attitude towards their value is concerning. It's not just about the monetary worth of the clothes, but also the personal connection and memories associated with them. One would expect a certain level of respect when entrusting their possessions to a business, especially one that deals in second-hand clothing where items often carry personal history. This experience has left me questioning the store's commitment to customer service and their appreciation for the items people bring in. I hope Plato's Closet can reflect on this feedback and consider how they might improve their approach to both customer interactions and handling of merchandise. A little empathy and care can go a long way in making customers feel valued and respected.
Great experience! The staff was helpful, bought most of my stuff, and offered a fair price. Quick and convenient option if you’re cleaning out your closet and want to resell your clothes
Lack of communication skills. Called at 7:30pm about dropping off clothes; she did not bother to make me aware that they stop accepting clothes at 8pm. Arrived at 8:17pm and told me I couldn’t leave my clothes. Train your employees better on effective communication with customers, this was a very inconvenient experience.
I never have high expectations with any Plato’s experience, but this location is ridiculous. I wasted half of my day waiting on an inaccurate quote of 1-1.5 hours for my items to be ready. After an hour and a half goes by, I go in to find that my items hadn’t even been touched. What the heck were y’all doing that whole time? The employee was apologetic, and I understand the issue of being short staffed, but don’t just throw something out there if you can’t guarantee it. People’s time is valuable. Dropped off my items at 1:25 and they weren’t ready until 3:50. I wouldn’t have been upset in the slightest if they had just been honest about how busy they were. They, as per usual, took practically nothing after my waiting game and let me leave with the things actually worth money. This was a joke and a lesson learned to just go straight to Goodwill. I’d rather have the rest of my day not blown than $27.
Cute store... Love the wide selection of shorts.
Wanda was such a great help for me, she showed me and even gave me advice on what to wear great service
