2 week turnaround to make an offer. And they are very strict with the container requirement and how the clothing is placed inside. And since it has to be in a bin, it makes it so challenging to open the door! At least put something by the door to keep it open for those carrying in multiple bins
Can find a few good deals. Mainly all on boys side though. Girls dresses were ridiculously priced at $8-$10. Bought a few of the exact outfits at Ross or TJMaxx for 2 or 3 dollars more brand new. Once in a while we find something cute at a bargain. I love do love that once in a while they have really good sales. This past visit we were upset that they lock their restrooms so have to wait for girl at register to unlock it. Of course she was busy with customers so my daughter almost urinated on herself waiting for restroom access. Kind of ridiculous for a place where you take toddlers and babies makes you ask for it to be unlocked. You would think it would be more kid friendly. They definitely need to change that policy. Other than that we do like the store.
Great place to shop for my growing children. Very reasonable prices. But the Staff are not very friendly. And I will not take anything there to sell. I've brought baby clothes that have never been worn, clothes with tags on them, and they said they won't take them. The staff just said they weren't accepting them at this time. On another visit I brought a box of clothes and they said it will full of dog hair. So I looked through the box and one or two articles of clothing had two pieces of dog hair..
Nice place to take the kids shopping, always find something i never leave empty handed. The employees always provide good customer service have never had a problem with them. I do wish they would check the toys sometimes. Because I did buy a karaoke radio for my daughter. I think I paid a out 7 or 8 dollars. And it was broke...that's about the only complaint I've had. But in do love that once you have all your points you get a discount.
It was my first time at a Once Upon A Child and I definitely will be returning! The prices were amazing, and I regret that I've been buying from Target for so long! The staff was extremely helpful and an employee, Stephanie, actually helped me get a bunch of outfits for my 4 year old stepson and my 7 month old niece. I’ll be back to shop for toys next! I appreciate employees who work in the retail industry during these tough times. They’re truly appreciated and it doesn’t go unnoticed by the customers!
First I would like to say my wife and I loved this store. They have affordable prices, warm employees and overall it feels like a great atmosphere. The last time we shopped here was about 4-5 months ago. We decided to do a little shopping Wednesday morning and let’s just say things at this store has changed. The prices are okay, they still have a great selection but the atmosphere feels off and feels like the employees hate their jobs. Everyone just looks stressed and uninterested. No one greeted us, the staff didn’t even have smiles on their faces. I’m not sure what happen between now and 4-5 months ago but it’s horrible. After Wednesday I don’t think we will be shopping here. The energy is not what it use to be and we didn’t feel welcomed. As a customer I refuse to spend my hard earned money in a store that doesn’t make me feel like they’re happy I’m there. I wouldn’t care if they fake like their happy that I’m shopping in their store. What’s the old saying “fake it until you make it.” But back to the topic, whatever has changed since 4-5 months ago they need to change it back because if the negative energy continues we won’t be shopping here anymore and I advise everyone else to spend your money in a store that’s welcoming.
If I can rate the store 0 stars I would. I normally don’t review places because no one ever looks at them but what i witnessed was not okay. I overheard some older women saying the ugliest things to another coworker that were behind the counter. The older lady with red hair was just cussing up a storm and there was two other women trying to tell her to stop and calm down because there were customers everywhere, But she just seemed so angry. I understand there’s differences in a work place but to do it in front of customers? To be saying the F word and other bad words in a children’s store is not okay. I have been to this store multiple times not one of the ladies that work there have ever been rude to me. But that one lady with red hair was not appropriate at all.
Today was our first time in since moving back. It's much bigger than I remembered but very organized! The store didn't have a nasty stuffy clothing smell. It was very clean and easy to get through the aisles. They only take in clothing that is in great condition and no stains. They are reasonably priced and the staff is friendly. We will definitely be going back!!
What in the world. We took clothes yesterday morning and I went to go pick them up this afternoon and they still weren’t ready. Called this evening and they still weren’t ready. I told them I needed the clothes back, because whatever they didn’t take I was putting in a garage sale. She basically told me that they already went through the clothes, but they haven’t been entered in. So I asked if she thinks they’d be ready closer to their closing time and she said maybe, maybe not. Then mentioned that she’ll out everything back in my bins for me. What a waste of time.
Great selection and pricing. Love the organization. So easy to find what you’re looking for. Also, I recently sold to them for my first time and I got way more than I expected! It only took about 10-15 minutes for them to go thru my bin and then- boom, $38 richer.
