Beware of this company! My solar equipment only ran for less than 3 months, it has now been down and not operating properly longer that it ever ran! Zero customer support! Horrible how they choose to operate! Regret ever opening my door to Forever Solar and your company Omnidian! Companies that treat customers the way you,Sofia especially(who's terrible at her job), and Freedom forever solar disgust me!
For 2 month .a breaker keeps tripping. Call tech support, send pictures and issues haven't been addressed. As an electrical journeyman. Whe you have to reset a breaker more more than once. There's a problem with the wiring, overloaded ,bad breaker or overloaded breaker. All can causes fire hazard . Sending me a ticket #. Doesn't solve the problem. Meanwhile l being double dip By you guys and Duke Energy.
RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! This place is a total scam. I bought my system from Direct Energy Solar in 2017 and the warranty, monitoring and maintenance was sold to Omnidian without my knowledge. My inverter was off line for a month and they did not even respond. Eventually, they had a contracted tech come out and replace the inverter which was also defective. That was 7 months ago. They keep dragging there feet with rescheduling as well as providing no communications. Every time I enquire for a status via email, they just give me these poor excuses with no reasoning or resolution. Their service is a disgrace. If they ever get around to fixing my system, I'll write another review. For now, I feel I'm continuously being scammed. My next report will go to my local TV/Media outlet
Omnidian has to be the worst monitoring service. EverBright installed my system and this company is supposed to help keep it functioning. They notified me through email that communication with my system is down. I lease this system at my home. They continue to send emails for ME to go and look at the system and tell them what is wrong…. I have explained to them I am disabled and also unwilling to do the troubleshooting for them. My contract states that someone will come and service the leased equipment. They have stopped responding to emails and phone calls. Absolutely one of the worst companies to work with. I will be contacting a lawyer to review my contract and see if they are in breach and what I can do legally about them. Also filing a complaint with the BBB. My issues seem to be a common problem with this company. Unfortunately that does not give me hope for the future and or a timely resolution with them. 01/10/2025 Update Since being contacted by Kris on my above issues with this company, my leased systems communication has been resolved. They were able to get a company they contract with to come out and take a look at the system. As far as I can tell everything is now operating as intended. Giving 3 stars because it required this much to get it handled correctly from the start.
We have had repeated problems with our solar panels under Omnidian’s service plan. Shortly after purchasing our home in Spring 2024, the panels stopped producing power (Case #582328). Most recently, on July 9, 2025, the system reported another failure (Case #00926427). Despite weeks without solar production and higher utility bills, Omnidian has refused to provide any compensation under their so-called “Performance Guarantee.” It took until August 27, 2025, for the issue to be fixed, leaving us paying for both the solar system and inflated electric bills. This is the second major outage in just over a year, with the company taking little responsibility. Omnidian continues to blame delays on customers while shielding themselves from accountability. Their guarantee is misleading, and homeowners should know they may be left without support when their system fails. To date 10/ 2025 we have no solar power. Our panels are just for decoration. Expensive decorations on top of that. And we are still paying. What does one need to do to get response. We have not had a better response.
They called me and put me on hold for 2 hours for a agent to troubleshoot my Tesla batteries. Will update after they get there stuff together. Update: After 2+ hours on hold with crappy music; I got a technician. I would give him 5 stars. He was very helpful. We are waiting on TESLA for an inverter failure. Will update later
Horrible company. Saying system offline for months. What's the point of another added service that won't talk to our 3rd party when given permission. Said an inspector will come out for no charge since system not communicating then charges us $250 and doesn't even tell us what is wrong and how to fix. Such a scam save your money. Not needed system. That tries to upcharge us and money grab every chance they can make up. It's like we are on a lottery. When to get screwed. Don't try to say I am not a customer this is my Google account. You clearly have hundreds just like me. Stop scamming people.
My client cannot close on her home because RenewBrook nor Omnivian will send the transfer paperwork. My client will lose 2 homes as a result of this.
This company is terrible they left exposed nail heads on my roof and now want to charge me 280$ for them to fix it they dont take responsibility for their mistakes
Omnidian has teamed up with Enphase to truly provide a terrible customer experience. Remember to just choose a local provider when installing solar panels. They’ve started to claim they have been reaching out to me, they must refuse to leave voicemails if that’s the case. They don’t seem to respond to emails either.
