(OMNIDIAN) WORST SOLAR COMPANY EVER! SHUT YOUR DOOR IF THEY GO TO YOUR HOME!!! Last year I purchased my first home and decided to get Solar panels due to the rising costs of electricity with their "delivery fees" costing consumers 4x's the amount of actual usage. I thought this would be the right move but it definitely was not! I got into a contract with Everbright for my solar panels who I believe at the time was with Solar Edge. Everything was great until Everbright decided to sell the warranty, monitoring systems and maintenance to Omnidian without my knowledge, consent or option to choose. I recently had my electrical panel upgraded from 100 amp to a 200 amp by a licensed electrical company. Permits were pulled and the city inspector came out and everything is good and working well. I called Everbright to inform them of the work that had been done and to inquire if they should be the one to connect my solar panel wires to my new upgraded panel. The person from Omnidian (Gelila) who I spoken with began by telling me that she needed the company information to begin vetting the company who did the electrical work and that my warranty may be void because I was to inform them ahead of time of any work that needed to be done regarding my electricity. I was never informed when they changed my provider to this awful Omnidian company. I called the sales person (Julian) who had originally sold me the solar contract and he acted like he was trying to assist me. He told me that I didn't have to wait on Omnidian to have electrical work done to my house, and that was ridiculous. He gave me some numbers to call and explain what I had done and that someone should come out to connect my solar wires to my panel. After a few weeks (Julian) stopped answering my calls. If you come across (Julian) who will try and sell you solar, RUN!!! I have sent numerous emails to Gelila who takes weeks to reply and still as of yet has not "vetted" the company I used. The city inspector who came out and inspected the work said that they did a great job with my wiring and panel and that everything was good. However, I am still waiting for Omnidian to get back to me. It's been over 2 months and crickets... If I could give less than a quarter star I would! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND JULIAN THEY ARE THE WORST!

The worst 3rd Party we've ever had to deal with. We had a fire in early March, it's now 5/29 and we've yet to speak with "kris" directly or have any one come out and assess the damage. The one man they sent, lived 1.5 hours away, and couldn't assess the damage bc of the roof damage. And then we never heard from anyone else again. You can call and call and wait on hold to be told, Kris will call you back. A blatant lie! It's is now time for our rebuild, but guess what? We can't, bc we still have panels on our roof. It's absurd! The whole solar experience through Everbrite and their 3 parties has been a complete nightmare, 0/10, don't recommend. The next call we make will be the BBB and our lawyer to review our contracts and potentially get out of it. *update- Waited on hold for 45 mins with no resolution. The Call Center Rep placed me on hold and never got back to me bc I had asked to be placed in voicemail of Kris. They will not connect me directly to her/him. It's crazy they can reply to this review before even getting a call back. If I could laugh react to their comment, I would! Unbelievable! Literally wrote this review while I was on hold, and they replied, while I was on hold.

I have leased panels through Omnidian. The panels have been nonfunctional for several months. They refuse to send a tech out unless I download a 3rd party application to run diagnostics. I have been waiting over a month to get access to the app, with me reaching out multiple times letting them know I still need the app. I was told this step saves time for the tech, but I am out moeny, and I have spent several hours calling and emailing to get this resolved. I am gathering information to send to BBB. This is outrageous.

Unlike the sales pitch, they have not ever "monitored" for problems. I have always had to notify them that my system had problems. Then wait weeks for a solution (The latest problem has been going on for almost 2 months).

After reading the reviews I am in the same boat as everyone else. This company has not been any help. PG&E has hit me with a $1500 and i personally feel this company is failing there contract to insure the solar stays running. I feel they should be responsible financially for failing to provide the service they promised there customers. EnFin points there finger at Omnidian & Omnidian points it back at EnFin. You both are scamming good people just trying to save some money!

I have solar through Palmetto (LightReach), but Omnidian monitors the system as a 3rd party. More than 3 months ago, I received an email from Omnidian saying my system wasn't reporting and they would schedule a call. I didn't hear back for an entire month and finally had to call them instead. I'm not sure Omnidian ever would have followed-up of their own volition. As it turns out, it wasn't a reporting issue; 1/3 of my system was generating no solar energy. 100+ days later (and after many hours spent making phone calls and sending emails to Omnidian) I am no closer to having the affected panels repaired. Omnidian has still not scheduled a technician to remediate the issue and has even asked me to reach out to local providers and try and find one for them. This is ludicrous; I lease my solar system and should not be responsible for finding and scheduling repair. After this length of time, I'm certain I'm not a priority and doubt if the issue will ever be resolved. Omnidian has failed at every juncture of this issue; from communicating the issue at the very beginning, through finding a solution in a reasonable timeframe. This company does not appear to care about providing service at all, let alone in a timely manner.

I had a solar system installed, and that went great. But the maintenance contract was then sold to Omnidian, and it has been awful. I have several open tickets with them, and they never contacted me. I was also promised proactive monitoring. My system was offline for a couple days during a construction project, and they never noticed. I'm currently trying to change my maintenance contract. I'm sorry to ever have been dragged into this company and their nonexistent customer support.

My leased solar system is down. I informed Omnidian over a month ago and they have been unable to find a technician to come to my house. They are responsible for the maintenance of my leased system, but are not living up to their legal obligations to maintain it. This company is giving 'Solar' a bad name! How they have 4.5 stars on google is beyond me.

Unprofessional and Unreliable – Avoid If You Need Timely Service I’ve had a terrible experience with Omnidian Solar. After a storm damaged my roof on March 8, 2025, I’ve been trying to schedule panel removal to get repairs done. Every time I call, I’m on hold for 30+ minutes, then either get disconnected or shuffled around. When I finally reached someone, I was told I’d have to wait 5 more weeks just for a quote—not even the service itself! It’s now May 15, and I still have no estimate, no appointment, and no real help. Absolutely no accountability, no urgency, and no service recovery for the unprofessional handling of my request. Extremely disappointed—I do not recommend Omnidian Solar.
