My PV inverter was not working and I called for tech support. I received a phone call as a preliminary check that everything was switched on and it appeared to be. I then received a call telling me that a technician would visit but a new inverter would also be immediately ordered to expedite the possible fix (10 working days delivery). Later when I returned home, I discovered that a circuit breaker was out. Once the circuit breaker reset, the inverter started to function correctly. Had I been home on the first tech call, I probably would have found the problem then. Anyway, I contacted Omnidian to apologise and cancel the service call out etc. I felt a fool, but the response I got was supportive and generous and it was clear that they had done everything to that point that they could have done to help. Their email communications were excellent and backed up the promises made in the telephone call.
Ominidian took over my solar project after the initial contractor lost their license. I have been in communications with them since September to have my solar panel project completed. Every time I ask for an update, I receive very broad answers like “We are still waiting for a response” or “we will let you know as soon as we get an update”, but the only update I receive is that they are still waiting for an update. Either Omnidian or the contractor they hired are haven’t done anything to have my project progress and neither seem to make an effort to help resolve the issue. I have expressed my concerns and frustrations numerous times but there never seems to be progress. Omnidian was hired to help finish my solar project but they have shown to be unreliable and have only hired another unreliable company. It’s proven by the negative reviews and BBB complaints I have seen.
This started with an Inverter failure. I contacted Omnidian, they swiftly confirmed that the inverter had failed. They explained the steps to solve the issue. Shea’s manner was friendly and professional. Things happened according to the time frame described. Shea followed up and kept me up to date. The electrician was prompt, tidy and restored my PV installation to the condition it was in prior to the failure. The Wi-Fi was working and the power flowing. Excellent service.
We have had the worst experiance with Omnidian. We received a Credit due to our service being off for a summer. Now the billing department won't honor it. All was in writing and nobody in customer service can fix it.
It took over 3 weeks to get the inverter replaced but it got done and they kept us informed. The only problem is that we didn't get notice of when the technicians were coming to repair it. They just rang our door bell one morning.
We have had a maintenance contract on our commercial system since 2016. We have not had beneficial use of the entire system since June of 2022. PV Pros are the servicer contracted by Omnidian. They continue to add service calls without making the system operational. We are seriously considering legal remedies.
Had a problem with inverter not connecting to internet. Omnidian technician did a brilliant job of analysing and persisting, tracking the issue, till he solved the problem. Thankful for the professionalism of the service. A big thank you to Grace for keeping communication open and following thru promptly. would recommend Omnidian any time.
I was very pleased with their attentiveness, professionalism, and skill with the repair to my solar microinverters. They kept me informed when my appointment had to be postponed due to rain and arranged a new date. When this date was also in danger of rain, they accommodated me with an earlier appointment date. The technician made sure I was informed about his arrival and departure times and about his findings during the repair. Thank you, Omnidian!
I had not checked the output of my solar system for a couple of weeks and was unaware it wasn't working. I was notified of a malfunction with my inverter and it was replaced under warranty within 2 weeks. The Company was very pro active in rectifying the problem with good contact and swift service. Thankyou.
They let me know of a problem with an inverter before I knew about it. They ordered the required replacement parts, scheduled an installation, turned up on time, and replaced it. I didn't want to provide my Wi-Fi password, so they asked me to use the WPS function instead. All working straight away, and reporting to the app correctly within a day. And then a follow-up e-mail, to ensure all was good, before they closed the ticket. I think that's about as good as support gets! :)
