Our new favorite place in Seattle to get a drink. The Ambiance is amazing indeed drinks around made. We particularly appreciated the friendly staff. Even if you don't visit the founders Club, it's a great experience.
Tonight was the busiest I’ve ever seen Olympic Bar, and our waiter David was incredibly gracious and attentive amidst a lot of chaos. Though it took a while to get a table, the burger and espresso martini were excellent. Will come back next time David is working!
Jorge made our trip so much better. Sure, it was an amazing stay at the hotel but to feel so special each time we came downstairs for breakfast got each day off to a truly amazing start. Thank you Jorge. We are excited to return and we’ll make dang sure we’re seated in your area.
Had a fancy whisky drink at happy hour- the bartender tucker was exceptional and I got the best smokey infused manhattan I've had. High ceilings with moving art. A great happy hour for sure
Beautiful bar to catch up with friends - drinks are tasty, and strong.
Service took forever! We went on Saturday night this last weekend around 8:30pm. Great atmosphere and the drinks tasted great, but it shouldn't take 30 minutes to get a drinks, and another 25 minutes for one drink to come out that was ordered once we received the first drinks. Our server seemed to be the only one taking orders and was MIA most of the time. We would have ordered more drinks, but knowing it would take forever to get another drink we opted to close out. Still took us 15 minutes to get our server to take our card in order to pay, we were ready to leave and were just waiting. There was a wedding party that seemed to take focus, there should have been two more servers working.
Only the bartender guided us to a table to accommodate our 8-person group. However after 20 minutes of no service I had to request service from the same bartender. After being left with a menu we had no service for another 20 minutes. We left shortly after that without any word. They're clearly not worried about serving a very easy round of drinks.
Tried this place out for breakfast based on the glowing reviews, and I think the breakfast service might be markedly worse than their dinner/drinks service. Took about 10 minutes for someone to come around and put our names on the waiting list. They seemed like they were playing double duty by also having to clean the floor, so that’s fair game. Only problem is that we had waitstaff pass by us multiple times and nobody peeled off to write us down or even greet us. Once we were sat, it took a while for us to get any service. By the time we were first talked to by our waiter it was probably about another 15 minutes. I ordered The Classic with over medium eggs and my wife ordered the Ham and Cheese Croissant. I unfortunately received sunny side up eggs, and the food runner was in and out so quickly that I couldn’t even notice the issue before they were gone. Waiter was unfortunately nowhere to be found, and we had been out of water for a while before getting our food. I’m not a super picky eater, so I just accepted the change because at this point it had already been nearly 30 minutes since being sat. My wife’s croissant was pretty low quality. She described it as “lunch meat-y” and she really only got a few bites in before deciding it wasn’t worth eating. To their credit, if I had ordered The Classic with sunny side up eggs it would have been entirely passable, and the only reason why this isn’t a 1 star review. Next time we saw our waiter was about when we were ready to leave. We asked for our second glass of water, paid, and left. Overall it was a very disappointing experience to the point where I felt it necessary to warn others who are looking to eat breakfast here.
First time back in a few months and the quality of drinks and food has gone way down unfortunately. We used to LOVE coming here for a burger and drink. We’d always take friends from out of state. They used to have an incredible burger with bacon jelly, the burger was tender, juicy, the pickle so fresh and crisp. I used to rave to my clients about this hidden gem. Claiming this is the best burger I’ve ever eaten, as of today I will never recommend this place again. My cocktail didn’t have cherries anymore, the orange was not zested, truthfully tasted like I could have ordered it from a dive bar. And the burger now is over cooked, dry, honestly nothing like it was before. We truthfully left today heart broken.
The server we had the pleasure of having was delightful! He was informed, attentive, and a jokester. I love this joint!
