Ashley is by far the kindest and most professional staff member I’ve ever come across at my Fairmont stays. I had a 12 hour flight and got in really late, but she made sure I had a perfectly cooked steak frites to welcome my stay for the week. You have made me a lifelong customer, thanks a million ! 10/10 would recommend the Olympic Bar, their wine menu is curated with local reds that paired perfectly with my steak.
Very nice people. Gentleman offered me and my girlfriend his seat when there were none left. Staff is fast and sociable. Drinks are Pricey but worth the atmosphere!
Olympic Bar has a great vibe, but our server really let us down. There was this bald waiter with black-framed glasses who was pretty cold. He didn't really greeted us and just had a terrible attitude. What really got us was that he kept slamming his tray loudly right behind our seat, making us so uncomfortable we actually left early. It was annoying to see him cheerfully chatting with other tables while ignoring us. The service quality was totally inconsistent. Fairmont, you should really look into training your staff better if you care about customer experience!
Vincenzo & Hugo the bartenders were so welcoming. Telling us all about the history of the hotel and suggesting where to get the best pictures. 10/10. They also made us the best mini pineapple daiquiris that were the BEST!
Stayed at this beautiful hotel. Had drinks in the bar. The server certainly wasn't very friendly (bald and dark rimmed glasses). The olives used for the martinis were disappointing! The real small ones that probably came from a jar. Most Fairmont bars have great olives...many with choices like blue cheese too.
I enjoy pushing the boundaries on “white”-centric places, so I showed up at the bar and timed this - it took 21 minutes from the time I finished my first drink for a bartender to ask if I wanted another. No water was offered. All while the bartender chit-chatted with all the white clientele all around and had their orders taken and serviced (some of them multiple rounds). This is clearly a spot that caters to “old white” patrons, so make of that what you will. 😉
The atmosphere is reminiscent of a large library or study. The drinks and food are excellent and servers are knowledgeable about gluten free options.
It is the best part of the hotel. Love the ambience, food, drinks and service. They are the best.
We didn't say at this hotel however we did enjoy the cocktails and the service. Great conversation with other patrons. We do recommend it!
