Olympic Bar was the best bar I've visited on Seattle. Bartender Aaron created the best French 75 my girlfriend had ever had, and bartender Michael created the best Gimlet I've ever enjoyed. I have explored cocktail bars across the country so that comes with some significant experience. Both bartenders are great people to chat with and let me know they cared about my drinking experience. And that's what Olympic Bar provides - an experience. So, a 5/5 to Olympic Bar, and a solid 6/5 to Michael and Aaron. They've made me a returning drinker here for life.
An annual tradition to come here in December with my husband. It’s also a great stop for apps and cocktails before a night downtown. On Friday, we brought my husbands family to enjoy with us (they’re visiting from California). Lieu was working that afternoon and really made the experience next level with a warm welcome & friendly experience! Thanks Lieu and see you next time!
Stayed in fairmont for the weekend visited the bar it was pretty busy with being a holiday weekend. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful. Great time catching up with friends.
I now fully understand the low reviews others have left. This bar felt openly discriminatory. We stood waiting to be seated for over 30 minutes next to an uncleaned table because the server told us not to sit before cleaning. No one acknowledged us. When we finally decided to leave and walked out, the red-haired female server immediately came over and cleaned the table. As Koreans (Asians), it was difficult not to feel that we were treated differently. Today is Christmas Day, and I hope she finds kindness and grace in her heart.
Allieu was very welcoming, energetic, and made the ambiance of the bar elevated and fun. The drinks were tasty and the Chocolate Lava Cake was a delicious treat. Highly recommended!
For me, one of the best bar in Seattle. Great place, Bar is awesome. service is rapid. You can ask for the dedicated Whisky menu. Tips : look for the hidden bar
First time in Seattle and I enjoyed the bar so much I went three times during my week there. At first the seating arrangement and functionality of the bar can be confusing but things were very layback. First come first serve, which works well for someone wanting a relaxed evening cocktail and snack in no rush. Our server, Hugo, was excellent and made us feel very welcome (even though we were probably underdressed when we first visited). The atmosphere is great and the architecture is beautiful. Very unique bar with good food, good drinks, and knowledgeable bartenders.
Allieu was such a great host. He was so friendly and professional. Also, the venue is great and the drinks were wonderful. I definitely will recommend this place to my friends.
