These guys are professional and not pushy. They tell you what you need and ask what you want to do no judgement. They even give extra advice as to what can be done to help you make your car better. They know what they are looking at so I appreciate their knowledge. The only reason I gave four star rating is because every mechanic I've been to has priced higher than I'd like. These guys are reasonable and I know we all have to make a living but some services always seem high to me. UPDATE 4-27-2024 I took my car for more work to oak lawn auto for my second time and I realize how hard they work in order to build a trusting relationship with those that come in. I increased my stars to 5 because their workmanship and approach far outweighs any monetary issues I have. I don't plan on going anywhere else for my car. I remember Greg and John talking to me and Christian from DAX tires which I believe work in unison with them. I'm sorry I forgot any other guys names. Thanks though to all of you guys Jim

Oak lawn auto is not only very professional but thorough as well. The nicest people, who make you feel very well taken care of! I can’t say enough good things about the service and experience. Fair prices, very respectful, fit me in on a timely manner due to the urgency of my car situation. Highly recommend!!

UPDATE: I’m fairly disappointed in the lack of honest reviews. I recently came back after paying $3,000 for an alternator, struts and wheel bearings. My car was unstable/shaking while driving at speeds above 40mph. I come back and they tell me it’s the wheel axel. Ok, not sure how they didn’t catch that the first time they told me I needed all this EXTRA work done. Also tried to rush me to make a decision because I was going out of town for the holiday and it was “extremely unsafe” to drive in the condition it was in. According to them, because I spent so much money the first time, they would allow me to only have 1 axle done for $600 instead of both. I decided to take it to a different mechanic that was referred to me by a coworker. $200 parts and labor. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY, what SCAM George was very helpful and educated me in what was needed to get my car in good working condition. It’s driving great and I believe they do quality work. They are on the expensive side but seem very trustworthy and back their labor. Next time I would shop around first to see if they are competitive to other places nearby. I was in a rush and they were able to do all the work in a few hours.

This is not our first time visiting this repair shop and every time we get good quality service. Everything is explained well and they are so very welcoming- from the front desk to the mechanic. They look out for you as the customer. Keep up the good work guys!

It’s nice to be able to feel comfortable talking to your mechanic. It’s better when they treat everyone & their vehicles as family. Family values run deep here. Trust & the best care, is what you get. George is amazing & takes outstanding care of our family vehicle. It’s nice to have honest people working on something so important & valuable. George and John are wonderful!!! I had a severe coolant leakage and John was so reassuring when I arrived in a frenzy. George was able to order the parts and repair my vehicle under 24 hours!!! The cost is so affordable which is a BIG plus during this pandemic. I’m glad to meet honest and professional mechanics who explain the issue my car was experiencing. I will definitely be returning for future service.

Very Courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. I brought my 2012 Lexus for the first time to this shop, and George managed to get my car diagnosed and fixed in no time. Very honest mechanics are rare to find these days, however look no further when coming to this shop. Thank you George and the Oak lawn auto team.

They are so awesome, professional and kind at their shop. I have went several times to have my car diagnosed as well as I have sent my family members. They're always spot on with their diagnosis as well as very flexible with the appointments. The shop is a great atmosphere with chargers for your phone a television etc. George and his brother are awesome, kind and knowledgeable men. I recommend it 10/10.

I found this shop through Google maps, and their rating did not lie. It was an A+ service visit. I was taken care of by John who was amazing at customer service. Sorry for the coffee spill. They were able to take my car in as a walk in and get my rotors and pads changed with lightning speed. Appreciate it, definitely will be back if need be in the future.
